Day 1

Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo with Ostriches
You'll depart Cape Town at 6 am and head up to Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo semi-desert area, which is also the ostrich capital of the World. This drive follows the world-famous Route 62, which is the longest wine route in the world! You’ll visit the Cango Caves for a tour through this magnificent cave system and also visit an ostrich farm for a closer look at this enormous bird. Tonight, you’ll stay in Oudtshoorn and have a delicious ostrich braai for dinner. (Dinner)
In Oudtshoorn, you will stay at De Akker Guest House or a similar place, subject to availability.

Day 2
Journey Along the Garden Route Western Cape

Leaving Oudtshoorn, you’ll cross the mountain range to the coast and the gorgeous Garden Route. Your first stop is the scenic ‘map of Africa‘ lookout in the Wilderness. Then, you’re off to Knysna (consistently voted as South Africa’s favourite town). Here, you will visit the Knysna Heads, Waterfront, and markets, and explore thoroughly. After Knysna, you'll pass through Plettenberg Bay! You'll also stop at the World's Highest Bungee Bridge (at 216 meters!), where you'll stay overnight in Storms River Village. (Breakfast, Dinner).
In Tsitsikamma, you will stay at Andelomi Forest Lodge or a similar lodge, subject to availability. If you would like a more luxurious option, please advise, and we will gladly requote.

Day 3
Garden Route Game Reserve with the Big Five
Garden Route Game Reserve with the Big Five
Today, you will head through to Tsitsikamma National Park for a hike to the ever-famous Storms River mouth. You can walk on the recently finished Hanging Bridge, where you can take a dip in the Indian Ocean! From here, you will head to the Garden Route Game Lodge, where you can enjoy a Big Five sunset game drive followed by a fantastic buffet dinner. You’ll also stay overnight in their award-winning chalets.

Day 4
The Garden Route Back to Cape Town
The Garden Route Back to Cape Town
Early morning game drive to see some animals you perhaps didn’t see the evening before, followed by a scrumptious breakfast! Around 10 am, you'll make your way to Hermanus, which is famous for being the best land-based whale watching site (in season) in the world, and is a beautiful little town with wonderful cliffside walks. Making your way back towards Cape Town, our last stop is at Stony Point, where you'll visit the local penguin Colony —making your way back with views over False Bay. (Breakfast).
