Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive in the Serengeti ecosystem, where you may encounter the famed big cats, lion, cheetah, and leopard as well as elephants, buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest.

After breakfast, you'll depart on a scenic full-day game drive toward Northern Serengeti, heading into the Bologonja and Mara River areas—the heart of the Great Migration during the months of July through September.
In this remote region, you’ll witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras as they brave the Mara River crossings, often pursued by Nile crocodiles and big cats. It’s one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles on the planet—raw, unpredictable, and unforgettable.

After your morning exploration, begin your journey southward through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in Karatu by late afternoon or early evening.

After an early breakfast and collecting your packed lunch, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, formed 2–3 million years ago, and is home to over 30,000 animals, including the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo. The crater’s rich soils and permanent water supply support high concentrations of predators and prey.
After a rewarding half-day game drive and picnic lunch inside the crater, begin the drive back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your preferred location.
