Your day begins early at 6:00am (exact pick-up time depends on your hotel in Zanzibar), with a transfer to the airport for your 8:00am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15am, your driver-guide will take you on a 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, sharing stories about Arusha and the Maasai culture along the way.
Tarangire is known for its rich biodiversity and large elephant herds. The landscape varies from seasonal swamps to open savanna, with the Tarangire River drawing many animals. You might spot lions hunting or leopards resting in the trees.
You'll enjoy a packed lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive. The safari ends at 4:00pm, after which you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

After breakfast at 6:00am, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Crater for an early morning game drive—an ideal time to witness active wildlife and stunning views.
Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest unbroken caldera. It’s home to around 30,000 large animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and cheetahs, along with birds like flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. The crater offers exceptional wildlife viewing in a short time.
The game drive ends in the afternoon, followed by a transfer to Arusha Airport for your 4:30pm flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
