Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) at a time to be advised (TBA), you will be warmly welcomed by your personal guide, who will be waiting to greet you at the arrivals area. After a brief introduction and assistance with your luggage, you will be transferred in a comfortable private vehicle to your accommodation, where you can settle in and unwind after your journey. Upon arrival at the lodge or hotel, you will check in and have some time to relax and refresh. In the evening, enjoy a delicious welcome dinner prepared with local and international cuisine. After dinner, your guide will provide a detailed briefing about your upcoming safari adventure, covering key information and answering any questions you might have. The night will be spent at your accommodation, allowing you to rest and prepare for the exciting days ahead. (It is advisable to arrive in Arusha at least the day before the safari departure).

Day 2
Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Crater Highlands (Karatu)

You will depart early in the morning from your lodge in Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. The drive covers approximately 120 km and will take approximately 2 hours. A packed lunch will be provided, allowing you to enjoy a meal while admiring the breathtaking wildlife around you. Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, impressive baobab trees and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes and various bird species. The park is particularly impressive during the dry season when the animals congregate around the Tarangire River. After an exhilarating day of exploration, you will depart in the late afternoon and begin your transfer to the Rift Valley Escarpment Wall. This scenic drive offers stunning views of the landscape, leading you to the Crater Highlands, where you will arrive for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge. The drive from Tarangire to the Crater Highlands is approximately 95km and takes approximately 1hr 30min.

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will begin your descent into the crater floor, often referred to as the ‘Garden of Eden’. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to an incredible array of wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo and various bird species. This volcanic caldera offers a unique opportunity to view a wide range of animals in one place, with its diverse habitats ranging from grassland to woodland. You will spend several hours on safari, soaking up the natural beauty and abundant wildlife.
In the late afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and head to back to your lodge in the Crater Highlands for a relaxing evening, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Crater Highlands - Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast, we depart from the Crater Highlands and make our way to the central part of Serengeti National Park. The journey covers approximately 160 kilometers and takes around 3 to 4 hours, including game viewing along the way. Our route passes through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking landscapes and a chance to spot wildlife even before reaching Serengeti. With packed lunches provided, we continue the drive as the scenery transitions from the highlands to the endless plains of the Serengeti. Upon entering the park, we begin game drives en route, witnessing the incredible diversity of wildlife that the Serengeti is famous for, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, predators, and a variety of bird species. By late afternoon, we arrive at your special camp or lodge in the central Serengeti, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay under the vast African skies.

Central Serengeti

You will spend the full day in the central Serengeti, exploring this iconic and vast national park, known for its incredible wildlife and spectacular scenery. After breakfast, we will embark on a morning game drive, where you will have the opportunity to observe the rich diversity of animals, including the famous “Big Five”: lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo and rhinos. Depending on the time of year, you may also be lucky enough to witness the incredible wildebeest migration if you visit during this season.
A packed lunch will be provided and you can enjoy it either in the park or at a viewpoint, immersing yourself in the serenity of the Serengeti. In the late afternoon, we will continue with another game drive, exploring different parts of the park and spotting more wildlife.
After a day of adventure, we will return to our accommodation in the Serengeti for dinner and overnight, where you can relax and reflect on the day's experiences.

Central Serengeti - Zanzibar Islands

After an early breakfast, you will check out and begin your scenic drive towards Seronera Airstrip, located in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. The drive takes approximately 45min to 1 hours (about 40–50 km), depending on your lodge location and possible wildlife sightings along the way. Upon arrival, you will board your scheduled flight to Zanzibar Island (flight duration approximately 1.5 hours). Once you land at Zanzibar Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver and transferred to your beach accommodation on the island’s coastline. The transfer from the airport to the beach lodge typically takes 40min to 1 hours (about 50–60 km), depending on the location of your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening by the ocean, followed by dinner and overnight at your beach resort.

Today marks the end of your journey. After an early breakfast, you will check out from your accommodation, typically by 10:00 AM, as per standard hotel policy. Depending on your international flight time from Zanzibar Airport—many of which are scheduled in the late afternoon or evening—we will arrange your transfer accordingly. If your flight is later in the day, we can offer two options to make the most of your remaining time in Zanzibar.
Firstly, we can assist arranging a late checkout at your hotel, subject to availability and at an additional cost. Alternatively, after checkout, we can organize a short stopover in Stone Town, where you’ll have time to explore the historic alleys, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a local meal. This optional excursion also comes at an extra cost and will be finalized on your confirmed flight details. Afterward, your driver-guide will ensure you arrive at the airport on time for your flight onward, bringing your journey to a smooth and comfortable close.
