Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins early with a morning transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled 8:00 am flight to Arusha, landing at approximately 9:15 am. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will greet you and begin the scenic 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, sharing insights along the way about local culture and landscapes.

Once in the park, embark on an exciting game drive through Tarangire’s varied ecosystems, from open savannahs to dense woodlands and seasonal swamps. The park is famed for its large elephant populations, massive baobab trees, and impressive birdlife. You may also encounter zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and leopards resting in acacia branches. A packed lunch will be enjoyed at one of the designated picnic sites inside the park.

Your game drive concludes around 4:00 pm, after which you’ll transfer to your nearby lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and overnight stay surrounded by nature.

Ngorongoro Crater & Flight back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, depart at 6:00 am for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, about 2 hours away. Today’s highlight is a half-day game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." This vast, unbroken caldera shelters around 30,000 animals, including endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and an abundance of grazers. You’ll also spot flamingos and other waterbirds around the crater’s central lake.

With its dramatic landscapes and dense wildlife population, Ngorongoro offers one of the most rewarding safari experiences in Africa. After a picnic lunch within the crater, ascend to the rim and begin your return to Arusha.

You’ll be transferred to Arusha Airport in time for your 4:30 pm flight back to Zanzibar. Upon landing, your driver will take you back to your hotel, marking the end of your whirlwind journey from the beach to the bush.
