Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport. The drive to Tarangire National Park offers stunning views of the countryside and glimpses of Maasai villages along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most diverse wildlife habitats. Expect to encounter elephants in impressive numbers, along with lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and a dazzling variety of birdlife. Tarangire is also home to the elusive tree-climbing python — a rare and fascinating sight.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park before continuing your afternoon exploration. As the sun sets, you’ll head to Heart & Soul Lodge for a relaxing evening.

After an early breakfast, you may choose to join an optional morning walking safari, led by an experienced guide and armed ranger, for a close-up encounter with Tarangire’s wildlife and plant life. Alternatively, enjoy a short game drive to spot predators on the hunt or grazers starting their day.
Following your morning adventure, you’ll begin the return journey to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, arriving by early afternoon — carrying with you vivid memories and remarkable photographs of your Tarangire experience.
