You’ll be picked up from your hotel and enjoy a scenic three hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day on an exciting game drive, pausing to enjoy a hot lunch right in the heart of the park. In the evening, you’ll head to Highview Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire is famed for its large herds of up to 300 elephants, often seen digging into the dry riverbeds in search of hidden streams. The park teems with wildlife, including nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland, all gathering around shrinking lagoons creating a feast for predators. It boasts one of the highest concentrations of animals outside the Serengeti ecosystem and is the best place in Tanzania to spot rare dry-country antelopes like the elegant fringe-eared oryx and the curious long-necked gerenuk. During the dry season, Tarangire becomes a refuge for migratory species, making it a truly unique and vibrant wildlife sanctuary.
