Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast, your professional safari guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, expansive savannahs, ancient baobab trees, and the vital Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife during the dry season. As you explore the park, you may encounter giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly predators such as lions and leopards. From the comfort of your 4x4 vehicle with a pop-up roof, you’ll have excellent visibility for wildlife viewing and photography. Midday, you will pause to enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, accompanied by soft drinks and coffee. After a full day of exploration, you’ll head to Ngedere Lodge, where you’ll check in, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay surrounded by nature.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and depart for the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will descend into the caldera via a steep trail to begin your final game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas, offers an unparalleled concentration of wildlife. Home to over 25,000 animals, including the famed “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), as well as more than 500 bird species, this unique ecosystem provides an extraordinary wildlife viewing experience. You will enjoy a scenic picnic lunch within the crater, surrounded by its dramatic landscapes. In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater rim and begin your return journey to Arusha, where you will arrive in the late afternoon, marking the conclusion of your 2. day of your safari adventure.

Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee tour and Chemka Hotsprings

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Materuni Village, located at the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a guided hike through lush landscapes to Materuni Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views and take a refreshing dip.

After the hike, you'll take part in a traditional Chagga coffee-making tour from bean to cup learning about the process and enjoying freshly brewed organic coffee. In the afternoon, you'll head to the beautiful Chemka Hot Springs, a hidden natural oasis surrounded by fig trees. Here, you can relax and swim in the crystal-clear warm waters before taking a ride back to Arusha or to the airport.
