Day 2

Starting in the Serengeti, you'll witness vast savannahs teeming with wildlife, including lions, elephants, and the Great Migration (seasonal). From there, you transition to the cooler, greener Ngorongoro Highlands, where you can explore scenic volcanic terrain, meet the Maasai community, and enjoy breathtaking views over the crater. This route combines classic game drives with cultural and scenic experiences for a well-rounded safari adventure.

Day 3
Ngorongoro crater
Ngorongoro crater
Your day will begin with an early morning departure from the campsites and you will descend 600 meters into the crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the world’s largest inactive, intact volcanic caldera.
Inside the crater, you’ll enjoy a full-day game drive where you may spot a wide range of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and possibly black rhinos. The crater also hosts hundreds of bird species, such as flamingos and crowned cranes.
You will stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater, usually near the Hippo Pool. After lunch, continue your game viewing before ascending the crater rim in the afternoon.
The trip ends with a drive back to Arusha arriving in the early evening.
