Day 2

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Arba Minch in southern Ethiopia. After arriving and checking into your hotel, we'll embark on an exploration of this diverse region, starting with a visit to the Dorze people. This small ethnic group is known for their weaving skills. We'll be treated to breathtaking scenery along the way, including Wolayta farmland, green hills and valleys, and views of Lake Abaya and Lake Chamo.

Start your day with a boat cruise on Lake Chamo, spotting a variety of birds, pelicans, hippos, and the towering Nile Crocodile. After the cruise, enjoy a walking safari in Nechisar National Park, adjacent to Lake Chamo. This park offers diverse terrain, from cliffs to marshes and forests. Zebras and gazelles roam the vast savannas.

Day 4

Enjoy a scenic drive to Hawassa (about 6 hours), the capital of the Southern People's Nations and nicknamed "the city of eternal love". Choose between a hike in the beautiful Wondo Genet forest or a visit to a coffee farm in Aleta Wondo, where the famous Sidamo coffee is grown. Wondo Genet is a historic retreat with hot springs, endemic birds, and rich culture. In Aleta Wondo, you can sample Sidama organic coffee and traditional Sidama food, especially during the harvest season (late October).

Day 6

Explore the lively Hawassa fish market, where fishermen bring in the day’s catch, before traveling to Lake Langano through the scenic heart of the Rift Valley. Along the way, opt to visit Abijatta-Shalla National Park for sweeping Rift Valley views and diverse birdlife, or unwind at a Lake Langano resort, enjoying swimming, relaxation, and the tranquil lakeside atmosphere.

Day 7

Enjoy breakfast and a scenic drive back to Addis Ababa (about 4 hours). A day room will be reserved for you until 6 p.m. In the evening, experience a farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant with cultural singing, dancing, food, and drinks. Transfer to the airport for your international departure or return to your hotel if staying in Addis Ababa.
