Day 2
Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti
Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti
After an early breakfast, depart with a scenic game drive heading north through the vast Serengeti ecosystem. The journey itself is a game drive, with chances to spot predators and migration herds (seasonal). Arrive in the Northern Serengeti near the Mara River area for lunch and an afternoon game drive along the riverbanks, famous for wildebeest crossings and big cat activity.

Morning game drive in Northern Serengeti focusing on wildlife around the Mara River. After lunch, enjoy an extended afternoon drive as you slowly make your way back toward Central Serengeti. Early breakfast and depart for a game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari inside the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, home to rhinos, lions, buffalo, and flamingos. After lunch, ascend and continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay in the highlands.
