Today you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Murchison Falls. Along the way, you’ll pass through lively towns and see roadside markets and food stalls. You’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino trekking experience, where you can walk close to the rhinos. Afterward, enjoy lunch before continuing to the park to visit the top of Murchison Falls.

Day 2

Murchison Falls National Park

After an early morning game drive, we’ll head out with a packed breakfast in hand in order to have enough time with the cats before the sun becomes too hot and they hide in the shade. We will also get close to the hippos at the hippo pool while eating breakfast. Afterwards, we will drive back to the lodge, have lunch, and go for a three-hour boat ride.

Day 3

Murchison Falls National Park - Kibale National Park

Murchison Falls National Park - Kibale National Park

Today you will experience a bright sunrise on the shores of the Nile while having breakfast. Afterwards, you will transfer to Kibale National Park in the western part of the country, passing through tea plantations and enjoying views of Lake Albert (which also borders the Congo). Later you will have lunch and go for a community walk to the “Top of the World.”.

After an early morning breakfast, we will drive to the park headquarters with our lunch boxes in hand (since we won’t know in advance how long the trek will take). At the head office, we will be divided into small groups before heading out for the chimp trekking. After the trek, we will go for a swamp walk in the Bigodi community.

Have breakfast amidst the breathtaking sounds of the birds as the sun rises. After breakfast, we will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the crater lake drive, passing through towns like Kasese. We will then cross the equator and take pictures before checking in and having lunch at the hotel. Afterward, we will head out for an evening game drive.

Wake up early in the morning, have a hot cup of coffee, and then head to your car to drive out to the Kasenyi Plains for a morning game drive. You will encounter animal species like buffaloes, lions, kobs, and warthogs (among others). Afterwards, you will drive to the salt lake and craft shop, then return to the lodge for a hot meal as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise.

Have breakfast with a stunning view of the Rwenzori Mountains. Afterwards, enjoy a morning game drive heading to the southern Ishasha sector, where you may see the tree-climbing lions. From there, continue driving further south to Bwindi, where you will check in at the hotel and prepare for an unforgettable experience in Bwindi.

The highlight of your safari has arrived! After breakfast, we will head to the park headquarters for a briefing and some cultural entertainment from the local community. Afterward, we will be divided into small groups and allocated a gorilla family to trek. Certificates will be given after the activity, and later in the afternoon, we will visit with the Bwata community.
