Day 2

After an early breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro highlands and descend towards the Ndutu plains, famous for the Great Migration calving season between December and March. During this period, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles give birth, creating one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles on Earth. The abundance of newborns draws predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, offering incredible action for wildlife lovers and photographers. Day 3

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Ndutu before heading to Central Serengeti, known for its year-round wildlife and iconic open plains. The Seronera Valley, often called the “big cat capital of Africa,” is a highlight with its large populations of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Spend the afternoon exploring the central Serengeti, with opportunities to witness herds of wildebeest and zebra, giraffes, elephants, and diverse birdlife. In the evening, relax at your camp surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you depart Serengeti, then head to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a full-day safari in this natural wonder. The crater is home to nearly 30,000 animals, including elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, lions, and the rare black rhino. Its diverse habitats of lakes, grasslands, and acacia forests make it one of the best places to see the Big Five in one day. Evening drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire National Park

Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River, where animals gather during the dry season. After the safari, return to Arusha and drop-off at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Tanzanian safari.
