Nairobi to Masai Mara - Full-day Game Drive

Your adventure begins with an early flight to the Masai Mara, arriving at around 9:00am. You will be welcomed by our local Maasai guide at the airstrip, who will be your host for the day. From here, you will enjoy a full-day game drive, offering close-up encounters with wildlife. Your guide will share insights, provide descriptions and answer any questions you may have about the animals you see.

During the wildebeest migration season, your guide will take you to the river crossing points for the best possible viewing and experience. The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five and you may spot them all. Leopards and rhinos are more elusive, but our experienced guides will do their utmost to find them for you.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the heart of the African savannah grasslands. Camp check-in is from 3:30pm, though the exact timing can be agreed upon with your guide. A cultural visit to a Maasai village can also be arranged. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Masai Mara to Nairobi (Morning or Afternoon Flight)

If you are booked on a morning flight, you may be able to enjoy a cultural Maasai village visit before heading to the airstrip. Along the way, you will experience an en route game drive, spotting various animals as you depart the reserve. Morning flights depart at 8:00am and 10:00am. Please note that if you are on the 8:00am flight, the Maasai village visit cannot be accommodated on the last day.

If your flight is in the afternoon, you may choose from the following optional activities (additional charges apply):

1. Hot air balloon flight – USD 500 per person (slightly negotiable).
2. Maasai cultural village visit – USD 20 per person.
3. Extended en route game drive – This will require additional park fees, as your flight departs later in the day. Fees are USD 100 per person between January and June, and USD 200 per person for the rest of the year.

Lunch will be provided either as a picnic or freshly prepared from the kitchen before departure.
