Transfer to Mikumi fron Dar es salaam by Train

Your Safari begins with the pick up agreed point then transfer to SGR train station board from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi. Enjoy Fascinating views of Tanzania's landscapes as you travel comfortably through the countryside. Upon arrival the guide will be waiting for at the train station your safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to your camp for check-in and a bit of rest.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Maasai culture by visiting a Maasai boma like an empire but mostly a clan. Experience their unique way of life, traditional dances and rich history.

After the visit, you will return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay as you prepare for the exciting game drives ahead.

Full Guided game drive at Mikumi NP

Start your day with wildlife viewing activities and an early breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Nick named as the mini Serengeti, Mikumi offers diverse landscapes, including open savannah and Acacia woodlands, which attract a wide variety of wildlife.

Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo and various antelope species. You may also spot lions, leopards, and hyenas longing under trees or hunting. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the presence of over 400 different bird species, including colorful horn bills and fish eagles.

Midday, you will take a break at a picnic spot or a lodge inside the park to enjoy a packed lunch while surrounded by nature soon After lunch we will continue with the game drive.

At sunset we'll return to the camp, where you can relax and rehearsal on the day adventure over a delicious dinner. Get a goodnight rest in preparation for your journey back to Dar es Salaam the next day.

Transfer back to Dar es salaam by train

Early breakfast at the camp to boost energy, enjoying the conducive surroundings of Mikumi. If time allow walk or simply unwind before checking out.

Guide will transfer you to the train station for your Train at SGR train station journey back to Dar es Salaam. As the train pass through Tanzania's beautiful landscapes, take in the view of the countryside while reflecting on your incredible safari experience.

You will arrive in Dar es Salaam in the afternoon, marking the end of your memorable Safari in Mikumi.
