Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading towards the world-famous Ndutu area, located between the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the southern Serengeti. The drive takes you through stunning landscapes, from bustling towns to rural villages and vast open plains, offering a glimpse of everyday life in Tanzania along the way. Upon entering the Ndutu region, you’ll immediately feel the thrill of being in one of the best wildlife viewing areas on Earth, especially renowned during the Great Migration’s calving season. Thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather here, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, creating dramatic wildlife encounters. You’ll enjoy an en-route game drive, spotting herds of grazing animals and countless bird species, before arriving at your lodge/tented camp. Dinner and overnight stay in Ndutu, surrounded by the sounds of Africa’s wilderness.

Wake up early today and set out to witness the Great Migration in the Ndutu area of the Serengeti, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras gather during the calving season. After an exciting morning game drive, you will depart in the afternoon for Ngorongoro, where you will overnight at a lodge located on the Crater Rim. Staying here allows you to descend into the Crater early the next morning, when wildlife is most active and sightings are at their best.
The Great Migration is the largest herd movement on Earth, with wildebeests, zebras, and other animals traveling together in search of fresh grazing. During this special season, wildebeests give birth to thousands of calves, attracting predators and offering unforgettable wildlife encounters. The best time to witness this spectacle is from mid-December to early April each year.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town
After breakfast, then we'll descend inside Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. Once we finish the game drives, we will transfer you back to Arusha town where the safari ends.
This park constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the Natural Wonders of Africa.
