Pick-up from Arusha town and drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. This park is famous for its large elephant population and thriving herds of wildebeest and zebra. Other animals commonly sighted include impala, giraffes, eland, buffalo, gazelles, and both greater and lesser kudu. Lions and leopards are also frequently seen here. After your game drive, you’ll head to your reserved accommodation just outside the park.

Day 2
Tarangire -Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, heading towards the beautiful Northern Serengeti. This area is famous for the Mara River, where during the Great Migration thousands of wildebeest and zebras attempt dramatic crossings while crocodiles wait in the waters. Even outside migration season, the Northern Serengeti remains a wildlife haven, with elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and antelopes roaming freely alongside predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Its rolling hills and open landscapes provide not only excellent game viewing but also a quieter, more exclusive safari experience compared to the central plains. Later in the day, continue to your reserved camp in the Northern Serengeti, where you will spend the night surrounded by the beauty and sounds of the wilderness.

Day 3

Spend a full day exploring the Northern Serengeti, a region renowned for its breathtaking scenery and exceptional wildlife viewing. Between July and October, this area becomes the heart of the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular events. Witness thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles as they traverse the Mara River in search of fresh grazing lands — a journey fraught with challenges as crocodiles and other predators lie in wait. Alongside the migration herds, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, as well as elephants and a variety of birdlife. End your day returning to camp, where the sounds of the African night complete your unforgettable safari experience.

Day 4

After breakfast, depart from Central Serengeti and enjoy a morning game drive through the Seronera Valley, the heart of the park. This area is rich in wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and zebras. Its open plains, dotted with acacia trees and rocky kopjes, provide excellent wildlife viewing. Continue your journey to Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at your reserved lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

After breakfast, depart from Central Serengeti and enjoy a final game drive as you exit the endless plains, with chances to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs along the way. The scenic journey takes you through varied landscapes before reaching the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and home to an incredible density of wildlife. With around 20,000 animals, including buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and the rare black rhino, the crater also supports a high population of predators such as lions, hyenas, and cheetahs. The blend of forests, lakes, and open grasslands makes this a truly unique ecosystem and one of the best places in Africa to experience the Big Five in a single day.
