Day 1

Embark on an unforgettable cultural day trip with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris, starting with an early morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel and a scenic drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi. Upon arrival, you'll visit the Hadzabe tribe—one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Africa—where you’ll join them on a traditional morning hunt, learn their survival skills, and witness their unique way of life firsthand. Next, you’ll meet the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths known for crafting tools and jewelry using age-old techniques. Enjoy a traditional local lunch in the village, surrounded by the peaceful rhythms of tribal life. In the late afternoon, we begin our drive back to Arusha, arriving by early evening with memories of a truly authentic Tanzanian experience.
