You will fly from Addis Ababa to Bale and drive to Goba town for a coffee. You'll continue driving to Dinsho National Park for a short hike. The Mountain Nyala, Menelik's Bushbuck, and other endemic species are available. You will have a chance to see them. After the visit, you'll drive to Goba town for the night. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay: Hotel.

Day 2
Dinsho – Drive to Sannetti Plateau – Trek to Tulu Dimtu
Dinsho – Drive to Sannetti Plateau – Trek to Tulu Dimtu
Morning: After breakfast, you'll begin your journey up to the Sannetti Plateau (over 4,000 meters above sea level) via Rira. This is the roof of the Bale Mountains and home to dramatic, otherworldly Afro-alpine scenery.
Wildlife Spotting: This is prime territory for sighting the Ethiopian Wolf, the world’s rarest canid, which preys on the endemic giant mole rats. Other wildlife includes: Ruddy shelducks, Wattled cranes, and Abyssinian longclaws.
Hiking: Trek to the top of Tulu Dimtu (4,377m), the second-highest peak in Ethiopia. From the summit, you'll enjoy panoramic views over the entire plateau.
Afternoon: You'll descend and drive to Goba, a quiet town that serves as a base for visitors to the national park.

Morning: You'll drive south from Goba into the lush and misty Harenna Forest, one of Ethiopia's largest and most ecologically rich forests. Located on the southern slopes of the Bale Mountains, the forest is home to: The Bale Monkey (endemic), Colobus monkeys, Wild forest pigs, A variety of rare birds, including yellow-fronted parrots and Abyssinian hill babblers
Afternoon, Short hike to a hidden waterfall, walk through shade-grown coffee plantations, relax in the cool air of the Harenna highlands
Evening: You'll return to Goba for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Goba – Drive to Garba Guracha (Black Lake) – Return to Dinsho

Morning: You'll drive toward the Web Valley and start a moderate trek to the mystical Garba Guracha (Black Lake), one of the most Iconic natural features in Bale Mountains National Park. Surrounded by volcanic cliffs and alpine meadows, the lake is both ecologically important and spiritually significant to local Oromo communities.
Afternoon: You'll begin your return drive to Dinsho, stopping to observe wildlife and birds along the way. If time allows, you'll go on a final walk through Dinsho’s Hagenia forest before sunset.

Day 5
Bale to Addis Ababa
Bale to Addis Ababa
After breakfast, you'll enjoy a short hike. Afterwards, you'll fly from Addis Ababa to Bale Goba Airport (approximately a 3-hour drive). You'll depart for Addis Ababa at 2:30 pm, arriving at 3:25 pm. Depending on your schedule, you'll enjoy a farewell lunch at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant.
