Welcome to the Baobab Kingdom!
Early Start (8:00 am): Depart from Arusha after a quick pre-safari briefing at the Jojas Base.
Drive time: ~2.5 hours to Tarangire.
Highlight: Tarangire is home to Africa’s largest elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and the beautiful Tarangire River that draws wildlife year-round.
Unique Jojas Touch:
Visit a Maasai market en route for local snacks.
Short walk near the park boundary with a local guide to understand the human-wildlife co-existence.
Lunch: parked lunch boxes will provided at picnic site and short break for having lunch and referment at picnic site near the riverbank.
Evening: Drive to Mto wa Mbu public campsite for overnight. Optional village walk or banana beer tasting!

Early Departure (7:00 am): Begin the long, scenic drive to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy panoramic views and a Maasai boma stop (optional).
Drive time: 6–7 hours including game drives.
Highlight: Afternoon game drive in the endless plains of central Serengeti (Seronera area) – excellent for spotting lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
Unique Jojas Touch:
En route stop for a picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcrop).
Campfire storytelling at night – share safari tales under the stars with a Jojas guide and Maasai scout.
Overnight: Seronera Campsite (public site, basic but magical with hyenas often heard at night!)

Sunrise Safari & Crater Rim Magic

Sunrise Game Drive (6:00 am): Nothing beats sunrise in Serengeti! Animals are active and golden light makes for amazing photos.

After Breakfast: Game drive en route toward Ngorongoro. Stop at Naabi Hill Gate – climb for a panoramic view over the plains.
Highlight: Spot migrating herds (depending on season), raptors, and the elusive serval cat or caracal.
