You’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your 07:00 am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 09:15 am, meet your professional driver-guide and depart in a custom-built 4x4 safari Jeep for Tarangire National Park with a picnic bush lunch in hand. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population, diverse wildlife, and striking scenery. During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, banded mongooses, and more. The park also offers a rich connection to the local Maasai culture. Watch herds of elephants playing around ancient baobab trees and stripping acacia bark for their afternoon meal. Enjoy panoramic views of the Maasai Steppe and the southern mountains before heading to Karatu. Arrive in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Octagon Safari Lodge.
