Arrival in Arrival at Entebbe International Airport– Fly to Kisoro – Private Transfer to Nkuringo

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by Nextgen Safaris team and assisted to board a scheduled domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip, a breathtaking journey over Uganda’s lush landscapes and mountain ranges.
At Kisoro, a private luxury air-conditioned 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser and your personal driver-guide will greet you. Enjoy a scenic 1 hr 15 min (34.5 km) transfer via Mutolere road, winding through terraced hills and local villages until you reach the forest edge.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today is the highlight of your safari, the day you meet the majestic mountain gorillas. After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Nkuringo trailhead, where experienced rangers and trackers will brief you before your trek.
The trek through Bwindi’s dense rainforest is as enchanting as the gorillas themselves, filled with bird calls, exotic flora and fresh mountain air. When you finally encounter a gorilla family, the intimate hour you spend observing their behavior will be one of the most powerful wildlife moments of your life.
Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the late afternoon, your driver-guide will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s most beautiful lake, dotted with 29 lush islands. This is a very short transfer.

Check-in at an exclusive Arcadia Cottages, a lakeside lodge and spend your evening enjoying sunset views over the calm waters, paired with fine dining and the warmth of Ugandan hospitality.

Lake Bunyonyi – Fly back to Entebbe – Departure

Wake up to the tranquil sounds of Lake Bunyonyi. After breakfast, enjoy a private canoe ride or a guided nature walk along the lake shores, soaking in the serenity before your departure.
You will then take a short transfer back to Kisoro Airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe, where you connect with your international departure flight.
