Our excellent experience with top Tour guide Abiy

Abiy picked us up in the hotel in Lalibela and showed and explained us some of the most impressive Rock Hewn Churches. His knowledge of history was great.
As other highlights I want to point out Axum, the capital of the ancient empire of the Queen of Saba and of course the National Museum in Addis Abeba showing the story of mankind starting with Lucy!

I have now travelled twice with Abiy Ethiopia Tours and each time found the planning and delivery of the tour immaculate. Abiy is prompt replying to queries, generous with advice, and always knowledgeable, courteous and fluent in English.

Abiy tours took care of all of my needs including those I didn’t anticipate

I had an outstanding experience with Abiy Ethiopia Tours. Abiy did an awesome job managing every detail of my trip. We covered the cultural highlights of Addis Ababa, but the real standouts were the Danakil Depression and Harar. Danakil is like the 'Yellowstone of Ethiopia' but frankly, it blows it away. Sleeping on the side of a volcano and feeding the hyenas in Harar are memories I will keep forever.
What sets Abiy apart is his attention to detail. He took the time to truly understand my specific needs and incorporated everything I asked for—including arranging cots for better sleep, diverse food options, and specific cultural considerations.
