He was very nice, and helpful.
Phillip was our tour operator. He was very nice and accomodating when our plans changed. He gave us the right amount of information without hounding us with information. Sometimes it’s better just to enjoy the moment being in a beautiful place like Namibia.
He did give us lots of insight amount the people, and places within the country. He was always making sure we were well taken care of.
We had two other tour guides join us briefly during the trip and they were both very friendly.
Emilia was our tour organiser, and she did a wonderful job of keeping us updated and helping us organise additions and changes to the trip.
The company seems small but very well organised. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

Amazing experience
I took a six day tour with People Tours & Safari, 3 days Etosha and then 3 days Sossusvlei camping. My trip was amazing!
Even before I arrived, Emilia made sure I was well informed and comfortable with everything. During the tour she checked up on me regularly and made me feel super welcome.
My tour guide, Leonard, exceeded all expectations. Not only is he very polite and thoughtful, he knows so much about his country and could answer all of my endless questions. He organized the entire tour seamlessly and really went the extra mile to make sure I had a perfect experience! He knows a lot about the animals in Etosha and where to find them. And thanks to him planning the trip so well, we were even able to climb the Big Daddy dune by ourselves, the first to reach it in the morning - an experience I will never forget. He also made sure we always had snacks and water, our tents were set up clean and nice and charged my phone in the car. In short I didn’t have to worry about anything.
Wholeheartedly recommend booking with this company, especially also for female solo travelers. You will have an amazing experience!

I visited Namibia this August 2024 as a solo traveller. Overall, what i've had with People's Tour & Safaris was nothing but an excellent tour experience that i would take with me forever. The famous wonders of Namibia were made even more meaningful and magical with my tour guide's knowledge, passion and positivity. My guide, Shalongo/Luke, is indeed well-educated in terms of the sites and attractions we have visited, and you would surely go home with new knowledge about the country's geography, people and culture. He also made sure that the trip was fun and interactive, and he was always on the lookout for my satisfaction, well-being and safety. My guide knows the best corners & spots where to take photos and videos and was genuinely cooperative and patient when comes to my requests using my personal phone. We chose this travel agency after comparing it with several others. Initially, during the quotation phase, compared to other companies, we already felt that the staff at this agency were more responsible. They patiently answered our questions, understood our needs, and offered a reasonable price. Throughout our entire Namibia trip, we received excellent service. The itinerary was well-arranged, and we had a fun and worry-free experience. Looking back, this package was truly value for money.
We are especially grateful to our guide, Philip. He drove safely and steadily, managed time efficiently, and took great care of us as first-time visitors to Africa (helping us with food choices, patiently answering our many curious questions, accommodating our desire to take lots of photos, and understanding our jet lag and and always woke up early). The workload of a tour guide is quite demanding. Every day, the guide drive, introduce attractions, accompany us on tours, set up and take down tents, clean the sand inside and outside the vehicle, arrange our meals, and ensure a constant supply of drinking water and sometimes snacks. It felt like our Philip never rested. Every night after dinner, we would return to find our tents very clean, even our suitcases were wiped clean. We were amazed by his work.
No doubt, this was a worthwhile tour that will leave us with unforgettable memories. My friends are surprised by my experience and some thinking of going on a Namibia trip.
