Our staff

Rams Safaris is a fully citizen-owned Company based in Maun. We do both day and long trips to Parks and Game Reserves in Botswana. We also do day trips for activities like Mokoro Excursions with nature walk, Boat Cruise and scenic flights over Okavango Delta

Best Safari experience ever, safety is number one priority.

It wasn’t just a tour — The trip plan was excellent, it was a journey into nature’s heart, a reminder of how small we are in the vast beauty of the wild.

The most breathtaking moment came when a lion was feeding on a buffalo that I believe was killed early morning, so close, I could hear the crunch. The day ended with a little bit of some rainy showers just few kilometers from Shorobe village and past until halfway to Maun. I still have a vivid memory of my visit to Moremi game reserve, and my expectation were met.

Our safari with Rams Safaris was truly the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish, everything was beyond our expectations. The team was kind, accommodating, and genuinely collaborative, making sure every moment was unforgettable.

Our guide, Ellias, was phenomenal. He is deeply knowledgeable, incredibly skilled, and clearly passionate about both the wildlife and the land. His reverence for nature and Botswana’s culture was inspiring and insightful. We not only saw an incredible variety of animals — including cheetahs, leopards, elephants, lions, zebras, crocodiles, buffalo, and so many more — but we also had the rare privilege of spotting a brown hyena and an African wild cat!

Beyond the wildlife, we learned so much about the history, plant life, and culture of Botswana, which added a meaningful layer to the experience. The food was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious, and on our last night, the team surprised us with a cake to celebrate our honeymoon and we had a small celebration together, this is a memory we’ll treasure forever.

Stephen was incredibly communicative while helping us plan the trip, and his recommendations for where to go were spot on. The entire experience felt seamless, personal, and truly special.

Everyone we met through Rams Safaris was so kind and welcoming, and we left with very full hearts and memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime.

We highly, highly recommend Rams Safaris to anyone considering a safari in Botswana. They went above and beyond, and we can’t wait to go back someday.

It was absolutly wonderful!

With RAMS we went on a 6-days Mobil Tented Safari: Moremi, Savuti and Mababe. The tour was tailormade for us two and every wish was fulfilled. The RAMS-Team was perfect organized. Everyone was doing an excellent job.
We did game drives, saw a lot of animals, had wonderful moments in the bush because of our guide Elias. Everytime when we came back to our camp everything was prepared for us: a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner, the shower was ready, the campfire was burning. Thank you so much for this outstanding experience! It was wonderful with you!

a wonderful adventure that was the highlight of my trip

The tour was amazing. Altogether, we spent 13 hours on the road (drive from our accommodation to Moremi game reserve and back included) and every second was worth it. Our guide, Elacious, was an absolute Legend! His animal tracking skills gave us an experiene unlike any other and we got to see everything we could have hoped for, including gurraffes, elephants, hippos, a leopard, lions, jackals, and wild dogs. We also saw a wild owl and a variety of antelope and other birdlife. I intend to come back in a few years and see it all again with the opportunity to camp overnight. The team was very responsive and honest in their communications and recommendations, they made a good effort to get us good value for money by seeking more tourists for our group despite the fact that we booked as a small party of 2, at the last minute, in the middle of the week and during the dry season. The breakfast and lunch were delicious and our guide made us feel safe and kept us well informed throughout. I 100% recommend.
