Professional, reliable, and passionate – African Travels made our dream trip to Uganda memorable!
We had an amazing experience with African Travels on our recent trip to Uganda. The itinerary was well-organized, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The activities were diverse and memorable – from wildlife safaris to gorilla and chimpanzee trekking – offering a great mix of nature, culture, and adventure.
Communication with Marijnke during the planning process was AMAZING, clear, helpful, and very professional. On the ground, our guide was FANTASTIC – friendly, knowledgeable, and always making sure we were comfortable and safe.

So helpful and well organised!
We had an incredible time from start to finish. 54 days starting in Kenya, ending in Zimbabwe. Marijnke was a star! Could not recommend African Travels more, they were so helpful at every point along the journey. I even ended up sick at one point and had to visit a hospital along the way and African Travels did everything in their power to help us rejoin the group safely and were so caring and supportive during this time. Fantastic company, and incredible trip. 10/10 would recommend.

Great organization with a personal touch
We had a wonderful campingtour trough Namibia and Botswana for 4 weeks. Varied with beautiful lodges.
We saw all the big animals, more than the big 5. Amazing. All de campsites en lodges had good facilities. We quickly felt at home and safe in each location. All the people were so nice. We did a lot, but also had moments of relaxation. African Trafels has shown us a lot of beautiful places. With a roadbook and much clearer information.

Good advise, helpfull and very well organized
We went with 4 friends on a 21-days roundtrip Zambia-Namibia-Botswana and enjoyed every minute ! Especially the variety, the beautiful countries, wildlife, nature and the combination of healthy food prepared by the guides (camping feeling) and some more luxurious lodges.

Great journey due to information and support of African travel
Exploring wonderful Nambia and Botswana was on my Bucket list for a long time. The dream became true! A lot of game drives, but also walks and boot trips. We have seen a lot of animals in their natural habitat. Besides that there was also room to enjoy nature and people.
Sometimes long driving time, but it was worth it.
Great accomodations and lovely food.

It was our first time booking a trip through a travel agency. We had a very positive experience because our wishes were well taken into account. We wanted a mix of different adventurous accommodations suitable for children. We were repeatedly pleasantly surprised by the beautiful places where we stayed. We quickly felt at home and safe in each location. We did a lot, but also had moments of relaxation. This was well considered and balanced throughout the trip.

Perfect organised trip, with a personal touch!
We did a 23-day selfdrive in South Africa. Marieke was very helpfull with designing and planning the trip with us. Also during the trip she was always helping us with recommendations, and always available for questions.
The accommodations were all on unique and charming locations. Every time we thought this was the best possible, we got suprised again by the next one.
