Once in a Lifetime Experience with Mirisho Expenditure Safaris!
We just came back from the most incredible trip to Tanzania, all organized by Mirisho Expenditure Safaris, and I can’t recommend them enough. Our trip started with a few relaxing days at a beautiful beach resort, the perfect way to ease into the adventure.
Next, we hiked around Mount Kilimanjaro, which was easy but so rewarding. Everything was well organized, and we felt safe and supported the whole way. After the hike, we went on safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti.
Our guide, Sam, was amazing, funny, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He never rushed us and promised we'd see the Big Five... and we did! He made the whole experience even more special.
On our last day, we visited a local coffee plantation, which was a lovely, relaxed way to end the trip and learn something new.
Everything went smoothly from start to finish. If you're thinking about exploring Tanzania, definitely go with Mirisho Expenditure Safaris. It was truly a trip of a lifetime.

Unforgettable Experience with a knowledgeable and fun guide
Had one of the most memorable trips, with beautiful views and the friendliest and funniest guide. Ranging from swimming at a private island to climbing to Kilimanjaro Shira 1 base camp, as well as, seeing the Big Five in Serengetti and Ngorogoro natural parks. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, always remained calm and made us feel safe, while making sure we were able to see and take pictures of all animals up close.

An experienced, well-connected, honest, reliable and fun Safari guide
An excellent holiday in Tanzania, very well organized by Mirisho! We spent a couple of days in the beach close to Dar es Salaam, flew to Kilimanjaro for a quick climb to camp 1, and then some great Safari days in Terengire, Gnorongoro and Serengeti. All arranged by Mirisho - thank you guys! A special word to our main guide - Samueli - who is also the owner of the company. Samueli is clearly an experienced guide, who knows very well the parks, can easily spot animals and has already a good network (and reputation apparently) among other tour operators, park rangers, hotel managers, etc. He always managed to get our food prepared in the middle of the Safari. But most importantly, Samueli is a very reliable and honest person, a safe driver and a guy with a good sense of humor. Your Safari with him is guaranteed “Hakuna Matata”!!

First time on a safari and cultural tour and it was beyond anything we expected thanks to Sam and Omega!!
They helped coordinate the amazing 4 days safari tour and 1 day tribe tour, I am very satisfied with this itinerary, the daily car ride time is not too long, you can witness the African Big Five and at the same time learn about the local culture, the local tour guide is very professional and has rich knowledge, never forcibly promotes purchases, trustworthy service quality.
Omega is super punctual, has excellent driving skills and checks and cleans the car every day to ensure our safety. During the safari, Omega searched for animals diligently, has a wealth of knowledge, never slacked off and would also ask us if we wanted to see again. Omega is fantastic, the best Safari guide ever!!
Overall an amazing experience, I highly recommend everyone at mirisho for their professionalism and sincerity!!

We saw Africa's Big Five, many other animals and beautiful landscapes. Sam is a fantastic guide. He knows a lot about Tanzania and the parks. Our experience with Mirisho Expedition Safari was amazing throughout our 10-day safari. I was referred Mirisho Expedition Safaris by Debby who has posted a review earlier. I am very grateful that I met her briefly, in passing. On her recommendation, we chose Mirisho Expedition Safaris as our safari guides. Omega, Sam, Anastasia and their team provided a comprehensive experience including airport pickups and drop-offs, accommodation, transport, park entry, meals, refreshments, unique cultural immersion opportunities, walking and cycling adventures, coffee plantation tour and the balloon ride over the Serengeti. The lodges were awesome with hospitable staff, beautiful gardens, incredible views, great food, that were safe and secure. Omega was an incredibly careful and considerate driver. Omega had profound knowledge regarding the region, its people, their cultures and had a wealth of knowledge and experience in the National Parks. Omega had an uncanny ability to locate the wildlife. Omega had comprehensive knowledge regarding the animals we had seen. Other highlights were Mirisho Expeditions Safaris relationships that enabled us to visit a Maasai Boma (village), to locate and meet the Hadzabe people, to be educated regarding Chaga people and customs including drinking the Bege (banana beer) and the Datooga tribal craftwork and their traditions. We witnessed some amazing markets in the cities of Mta wa Mbu and Arusha. We also loved the coffee plantation immersive experience and the opportunity to eat traditional Swahili cooking. Omega was an excellent Kiswahili language tutor - "Asante sana". The whole holiday was amazing. Experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend
We had an excellent experience with Mirisho Expedition Safari from the start of planning (months in advance) until the end of our 7-day safari. Sam and his team handled everything for us from airport pickup until airport drop off 7-days later, including all lodging, transportation, park fees, meals, waters, and the balloon ride over Serengeti. The lodges were clean, immaculately kept grounds, good food, and safe. The itinerary Sam and his team put together was well organized and customized to what we asked. He was extremely knowledgeable me about the area and National parks, he is an excellent wildlife spotter and a wealth of knowledge about animals. He shared about the culture and took us to a Maasai village, helped us navigate a couple local markets, and answered our endless questions. The whole experience was amazing and I would highly recommend Mirisho Expeditions for your African safari.
