I first of all liked the warm welcome to South Africa that kept me feel at home by the Socioolite and Tours. The commitment to serve us was another point of attraction. when it came to touring Soweto that was a touching experience seeing the effects of apartheid on the African Indigenous people. moving down to the birth place of Nelson Mandela brought me closer to the South African Hero, seeing the bed where he slept, touching chair where he sat, connected me with that supernatural power of African Leaders. Travelling to Pretoria was another great experience especially on the landmarks that would define the historical and sociocultural developments. The Apartheid Museum brought flesh memories of what fellow Africans experienced. the political struggles by Nelson Mandela all became a new experience to us.

Great service - very responsive - tailored a great bespoke itinerary to fit our timings and budget
We’d already booked our travel and had two and a bit days that we wanted to fit a Pilanesberg safari tour into. Shaun was very responsive, came up with useful suggestions and put together a great package for us. What we went for wasn’t cheap but felt like good value. We had an amazing time! Only minor criticism was that our driver was a new guy who wasn’t used to airport pickups and was quite late, leaving us hanging around at Jo’burg airport for a while. But I suspect we were just unlucky on that - and he was a good driver with some interesting stories (and fluent in 10 of the 11 official ZA languages!)

Shaun with the Socioolite Group was incredible and made sure everything was lined up. He’s very responsive while on tours and if anything does happen, he’s there to make sure and handle it for you with the guides, venues, hotels, etc. He’ll work well within your budget and does a great job accommodating to your preferences to create a custom experience. Whether taking a safari, planning a dinner and getting a reservation to a tough spot, a day trip for excursions, winelands, etc - he leaves no stone unturned to make sure you have the best experience. We used him for our honeymoon and would recommend him if you’re looking to plan and navigate any and all kinds of travel in South Africa.

Very enganged operator that organized a very individual and amazing long weekend for us.
We used Socioolite to organize an individual 4-day trip in Kurger. Shaun was very responsive, shared the exact right anount of info about drivers and pickups and made great suggestions what we can add / change when an opportunity came up. We learned they even checked with the individual tour guides to ensure we had a great time. Definitely overdelivered in that aspect :) Any requests that we had during the trip were made possible. The original accommodation was already booked out, so they found us an even better one at Hippo Hollow. We especially liked a private walking Safari. Definitely will come back to Kruger and happy to use Socioolite again!
