Fantastic experience all-around!
We did a 1-day gorilla trek with Universal and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Emmanuel was very helpful and communicative when organizing the trip for us. Christian was an amazing driver and guide and got us everywhere we needed to go on time. Everything went very smoothly from start to finish and spending time with the gorillas was definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

What an incredible experience! My partner and I recently joined Universe Venture for a gorilla trekking adventure in Rwanda's lush volcanoes, and it was hands-down the highlight of our trip. From the moment we met our driver Christian from Universe Venture, everything was seamless and magical.

Absolutely professional
My friend and I booked a guided tour around Kigali.
We were picked up on time by Shadady at our hotel and immediately connected. He gave us plenty of background about Rwanda. We went to a local market and interacted with the ladies. He took us around Kigali by car for an entire day. Never tired to answer our questions. We had lunch together at a wonderful restaurant with amazing food. The day ended at a lovely roof top bar.
Altogether we had a fun day and this tour comes highly recommended. Thank you

Very Professional and informative
My Mountain Gorilla Trek was spectacular and made even more special thanks to Christian, who was incredibly helpful and informative from the very beginning. His communication was excellent, and he picked me up directly from my hotel, sharing insightful information that deepened my understanding of the experience and the region. To top it all off, they surprised me with a bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday an unexpected and thoughtful gesture that perfectly concluded an unforgettable experience. Easy going and helpful
I had a wonderful day gorilla trekking with Christian. He was punctual picking me up and messaged me the night before informing me of all the particulars such as what to bring. He answered all of my questions and didn’t bombard me. It was such a great day. The roads are very steep as they pass over mountains and I felt that Christian is an experienced driver. I felt very safe with him in the vehicle. Also, I’m a female solo traveller and Christian was very professional, and he made me feel comfortable. He took me to a great spot for lunch. He took photos of me as well which I appreciate. He’s a great photographer. I recommend this tour company and I recommend Christian to families, couples or solo travellers.

Best company to book tours of Rwanda
Book with Universal and Emmanuel! We highly recmmend Emmanuel for planning your time in Rwanda. From the first time we emailed he was quick to respond, patient in answering questions and full of ideas about how to make the most of our visit.
When we arrived we met Emmanuel and our guide Shadady. Everything was well organised and the accommodation chosen was excellent. We had a day in Kigali then did the gorilla and golden monkey trekking in Volcano National Park. We then stayed a night at Lake Kivu followed by down to Ngunywe National Park over a week. It was a full on and busy week but worked well. Shadady became a true friend for the week and was full of knowledge about Rwanda. He made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout.
Thank you again Emmanuel and Shadady. We will always remember our time in Rwanda.
Amazing Trip to Rwanda with a Fantastic Tour Company
We did a three day tour of Rwanda through Universal Ventures. Our guide, Christian, was phenomenal. We had an amazing trip and would highly recommend Rwanda, Christian, and Universal Ventures.
Our first day in Rwanda we went to the Genocide Memorial. The memorial is beautiful and the audio tour, along with the exhibits, are incredibly well done. After the memorial Christian drove us the several hours up to the Volcanos National Park area where we were scheduled for gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking.
We did the gorilla and golden monkey trekking during the rainy season, so the trail particularly for the gorillas was incredibly muddy and the hiking was extremely challenging. While that part of the journey was not particularly fun, the gorilla viewing more than made up for it. We have done numerous wildlife viewing trips in different parts of the world and the gorilla visit is one of the best, if not the best, tours we’ve had. The guide through the national park was wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable, and very personable. Despite the trekking challenges we would not hesitate to visit the gorillas again. The golden monkey trekking was much easier, and the monkeys were very fun to watch. As long as you’re there, they are definitely worth seeing.
In addition to shuttling us around Christian was great about pointing out various landmarks and geography around Kigali and our other travels and answered all of our questions with thoughtful detail. He was also just fun to hang out with for a few days, and we had a great time getting to know him. When we asked to take detours from our scheduled travels (for example, to visit the Dian Fossey museum), he was more than happy to humor us and accommodate our requests.
Rwanda is a gorgeous country and we had a great time visiting. Three days wasn’t long enough and we’ll definitely be back at some point to spend more time in Kigali, see the chimpanzees, and do some other hiking and touring (along with the gorillas again).

Amazing life Experience
My husband and I did a gorilla tour in Rwanda from Kigali the capital, first we enjoyed the smooth drive to volcanoes, and after the briefing we have drive to the starting hiking point and meet the most incredible creature, i mean the Gorillas, they are so amazing and babies were so cute, i have been able to see the sliver back face to face, wawooo, it' unbelievable. universal' guide was a good guy and humble. we will definitely come back in Rwanda and enjoy this tour with our families. Best one day Animals safari experience
My boy friend and I had amazing time in Rwanda last week, we took a safari to akagera in eastern province of Rwanda, we sow more than 50 different kinds of wilds animals, some were bigger others smaller, the guide did a good job and he made our day memorable and unforgettable.
