An Unforgettable Experience and Impeccable Service
Going on safari in Tanzania was one of our biggest dreams, and thanks to this agency, it became an unforgettable experience. From the very first contact, the entire process was smooth, professional, and extremely well organised. Although we had some initial doubts—given that the booking was done remotely and we didn’t know the agency personally—they offered us multiple payment options and reassured us at every stage. And indeed, everything went perfectly.
The organisation was flawless: from the pick-up at the hotel to every transfer, accommodation, and activity. Every detail had been carefully planned, which allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without worrying about a thing. Everything ran on time, which we greatly appreciated on a trip of this nature.
We especially want to highlight our guide, Kapande, who made the experience even more enriching. Not only was he punctual, kind, and approachable, but his knowledge of the local wildlife, flora, and culture gave us a much deeper understanding and appreciation of both Nyerere National Park and Tanzanian culture. Always willing to answer our questions with patience and a smile, Kapande was the key to making this trip even more special.
We would unreservedly recommend this agency to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania. We felt supported and safe, and we leave not only with incredible memories but also with the satisfaction of having placed our trust in a team that is professional, committed, and truly passionate about what they do.

Just amazing
We booked a 9 day trip with African Pangolin Safaris. From the start the communication was very good, we felt listened to and got good advice too. The planning was flexible and after a few different options, the entire trip was turned around to accommodate a cheaper flight. The booking process is user friendly, All electronic.
It was a trip of a lifetime with so many experiences, covering 4 national parks, 4 days of game drives, camping with Masaai, spectacular gorge walk, day trekking in the mountains, a boat safari and a walking safari.
We chose basic/standard accommodation and it was always very clean and the beds were comfortable. The car was reliable and comfortable, it even had a mini fridge.
Mansoor is a very safe driver, who knows the parks, and many other drivers so often exchanged top tips of where to go and what to see, so we saw loads. And he's just good company.
I can't recommend African Pangolin Safaris enough.

Did exactly what was written on the tin (plus more)!
Mansoor was our guide in all three national parks (Ruaha, Mikumi & Nyerere) for 9 days. We camped with the Maasai, relaxed with a beer whilst the hyena's were only 50m or so away, watched the lion's tuck into a tasty zebra and sat meters away whilst the crocodiles slid silently into the water.
The canyon just outside of Iringa was impressive and certainly worth the stop. The walking safari with Didi was an experience not to be forgotton - whether it was him smoking the dried elephant poo, or him sticking his toe in it to test the temperature - all very informative in an amusing way.
We would thoroughly recommend African Pangolin Safaris as they went beyond what was promised. Mansoor was exchanging tips all the time with other guides to provide the best experience for us, persevering to find the animals in their natural habitat. He even arranged for our 14 year old son who had a birthday whilst camping with the Maasai to become chief for the morning and a surprise birthday cake appeared!

An unforgettable adventure!
We did a 7 day safari in Mikumi, Ruaha and Nyerere National Park. The safari was excellent organized by African Pangolin safaris. The parks are characterized by different vegetation and landscape and are therefore very varied. Also the accommodations were excellent. Thanks to our professional guide Mansoor we were able to see many animals: elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, hippos, the rare wild dogs and many more. Mansoor is a very friendly person who gave us a lot of information about the animals and Nationalparks, but also about the history and culture of Tanzania. We have a wonderful, exciting and unforgettable time with him. Thank you very much. We can definitely recommend a safari with Pangolin Safaris.

Amazing Gods creation
Gods creation is beautiful, and with African Pangolin Safaris we got the chance to see the big 4 and many other creations as close as if you could touch them. Important for us was: we got everything as we agreed, price was very reasonable, driver was calm and vriendly. He did everything possible to let us enjoy. We slept in the parc, an amazing experience. Monkeys in front of our room. Next time, we know who we will choose again

Wonderful experience with African Pangolin Safari!
We were traveling as two families with 5 kids ranging 8-12. We booked the southern circuit as it was more convenient from where we were traveling and less expensive for our group. We had zero regrets on the trip we chose and loved every moment. The long travel days were scenic and broken up nicely for lunch. We saw so many animals and Mansoor was very knowledgeable on the wildlife, land and culture. One highlight was seeing a lion family with young cubs, but everyday was amazing and full of wildlife viewing. The lodging options were great, food was good, and when we go back I would definitely book with African Pangolin safaris. Mansoor made the booking process easy, answering all my questions. We felt safe and in great hands throughout the entire trip.

Perfect
The safari was amazing. We had a great guide, Yunus, who was very dedicated to showing and explaining everything to us. He was very respectful towards the animals and always respected their space. The drive was very pleasant. We can highly recommend Pangolin Safari and would book with them again anytime. The option to be picked up and dropped off directly at our place of stay was very convenient for us.

Organization perfect with Mohamed top
Akonina was truly an exceptional guide, he knows the places to see even rare animals.
Always attentive and very respectful of wildlife and even the rules of the road 😂.
He gave us a lot of information about animals, their lives, customs and the life of Tanzanians.
He gave us a cake and a bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary which touched us.
THANKS

Fun experience with a very professional and caring tour
This is the review for the 5-day African Pangolin Safaris visiting Mikumi and Nyerere park.
We are a group of 12 travelers in the mid 50s to the 70s from Montreal, Canada, experiencing the first so called safari in Tanzania. We are fortunate to have signed up with this band of brothers (seriously two brothers Mansour and Yunus) who led us through the rugged terrain of Tanzania national parks for 5 days in two Toyota Land Cruiser with pop-up tops. There was apprehension in the group at the beginning of the quest when we were to give up the comfort of city life for the dusty trails.
It seemed that the brothers could read our mind, stopped at the right time for nature calls, picked the best lunch spots in the middle of nowhere that were accentuated by some memorable spots such as the humongous baobab tree that smugglers used the hollow trunk as a hideout from the law in recent pasts. They arranged the most convenient lunches midday at a stop when we were prearranged to bypass the long line of customers at a buffet that provided delicious local food. That's a privilege appreciated by the weary travelers who looked for a cool spot to rest the battered body.
It took awhile for the group to get in sync with the operation focusing on the big five animals of the territory, bouncing "aimlessly" through endless pathways at idle pace, ... and suddenly, here we were switching into what seemed like neck breaking pace on the not so smooth trails when, over the radio, there was a "point of interest" that turned out to be two full grown lions taking a nap by the roadside, oblivious to the presence of the uninvited guests.
Observing the majestic animals (giraffes, Wildebeest, hippos, .. ) along with birds in the wild made all the trip worth while. Now we have first hand view of the African Eagle to compared to our Canadian bald eagle. The brothers will not hesitate charging through narrow passages that made us cringe when tree branches gave the sides of the vehicles a brush jobs that will require serious detailing to remove the scars off the paint. The brothers provided ample of time to take in the scenery without feeling pressed for time, an undeniable quality felt and can hardly quantified.
It was a well paced program allowing the group to enjoy the ruggedness of nature, get the questions answered that revealed the in-depth knowledge of the professional guides. That was an educational experience that I personally appreciate. The brothers were patient, courteous, friendly throughout the long days searching for the best spots, the most unique scenes, answering multitudes of questions with facts and back story, contrasting the calmness when traversing the rugged terrain that required technical skills to overcome.
The food choice was excellent, blending local cooking with some traditional western dishes that help balance the adventure with home cooking. Banda bungalow Selous was top in the group's mind.
In all, I would be amiss not admitting the overload of sensation during the 5-day adventure. The recall is spotty at best but the memory etched deep in this memorable vacation.
There are not enough words to thank Yunus and big brother Mansour to make this safari a wonderful possibility. They are a big factor in making this vacation a success. Now, we have plenty of time to peruse the photo collection for a recall of the many details of past events and relive the adrenaline-packed five-day adventure.
The group is very happy to have chosen African Pangolin Safari and we were amply rewarded.
The big brother Mansour is discretely a bit stricter than Yunus on when to stand while the vehicle is moving, I later found out. Well, all is in the name of safety for all aboard and we appreciate it.
Thank you Mansour and Yunus. 'til the next time.
