They were extremely responsive to all my needs as a traveller
I had the best experience in Kenya because to ETA Adventures. Derrick helped to make the booking an easy process. Before coming to Kenya, he was available for all questions and concerns I had. While I was in Kenya, he was also available whenever I had any questions. The Safari experience was unbelievable. The accommodation (mid range) was excellent. The drivers I had during this trip were also great. I could not have asked for a better trip.
I will be recommending ETA to my friends and family. When I return for another safari, I will be sure to book with ETA.
Thank you for a great time!

Excellent
We had a memorable adventure in Kenya. A very special thanks to our safari jeep driver and guide, Leroy.
His knowledge of the parks and incredible instincts led us to some of the most breathtaking sightings. We felt safe, well taken care of and truly enjoyed every moment.
Once again thank you so much Leroy.

Good overall, small hiccups with organisation and miscommunication
Very good communication from beginning of booking process until the end of the trip and responsive during the trip. Put us in contact with good drivers and companies for the various activities we undertook (Mt Kilimanjaro, Amboseli safari, markets, etc). There were a couple events of miscommunication between eta and other companies which led to us having to mediate between them to resolve issues.
Was not enough to dampen overall experience but could have done without the unnecessary stress from these incidents.

Very responsive and competitively priced
We had a good time overall in Kenya and Tanzania. In Amboseli, our driver Paul was a local and displayed very good knowledge of the wildlife and their behaviours. He predicted several times the movement of animals and herds, which meant that we often found ourselves in excellent positions to view them up close. Our tour organiser Derrick was very quick to respond to questions that we had. However, the organisation could be improved. We were picked up late on the first day by an hour, and we were given inaccurate information regarding the number of members in our Kilimanjaro trekking crew, which meant that we had to scramble to ensure we had enough for tipping. On the other hand, Eta was flexible and quick to make last minute changes to the itinerary when we had decided quite late that we wanted to spend an extra day trekking. All staff members we came across were very friendly and courteous, and they even met us at the airport to send us off with parting gifts!

best and the most skillful driver ever
our tour guide Wilson was really a good and skillful driver, we just saw almost all the animals in the first day of Safari, and he was really a nice guy, always cares about us, BTW he literally got a Hawkeye cause he can find those animals in a really far distance. he also known a lot details and habit of those wonderful animals, anyway, i really recommend Wilson, best trip ever

Very responsive and makes it happen per your requirements, budget, schedule and locations.
With so many options, ETA was always quick to communicate and ask about what we wanted to do and built a trip around that. WE hiked Mt Kenya, then did a safari and then went to Watamu for some beach time. They made it all happen. All of their guides and drivers were super nice, very knowledgeable and assured that we had the best time. Derek at ETA answered all my many questions, and made for a very pleasant experience. Strong recommendation for ETA Safaris.

Perfect safari tour!
We booked an 8-day safari and Mombasa tour, and it was an unforgettable experience. We were lucky to have an excellent guide, Denis, and an amazing group of people who bonded really well throughout the trip. Denis was calm, organised, and kept us on schedule while still being flexible when minor changes came up—always keeping us informed. His deep knowledge of wildlife and his keen understanding of animal movements made the safari drives incredibly rewarding. We were thrilled to see the Big Five up close! His African style driving ensured every day was an adventure.
Maasai Mara – The camp accommodation was fantastic: clean, welcoming, and very comfortable. The food was absolutely top-notch. The safari drives were long, but the experience was well worth it. The wildebeest river crossing, though a bit chaotic due to large crowds (not the tour operator’s fault), was still an incredible moment to witness.
Lake Naivasha – The boat ride was $20, with an optional guided walking safari for an additional $20. Our boat guide was a young man full of knowledge and humour, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Lake Nakuru – This was a beautiful and refreshing part of the journey. The landscape was noticeably different from the other parks, offering a unique contrast and stunning scenery. It was a peaceful experience, and we enjoyed spotting a variety of wildlife in this more serene setting.
Amboseli – While the drive to the campsite was long, dusty, and bumpy, it was absolutely worth it. Nayati Camp was a fantastic place to stay—comfortable, welcoming, and well-situated. Exploring Amboseli National Park felt like stepping into The Lion King, with its breathtaking landscapes, large herds of elephants, and an abundance of birds and wildlife. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background made it all the more magical. Truly unforgettable!
Mombasa – The white sand beaches were absolutely stunning and the perfect way to unwind after our safari adventure. We stayed at The Reef Hotel, which offered a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
A special thanks to Derrick, who was outstanding in organising and accommodating our travel needs. He was incredibly flexible, making necessary adjustments to the itinerary when one of our group members unfortunately experienced severe food poisoning. Despite the change in plans, everything was handled smoothly and with care. Our guides in Mombasa were friendly, and Derrick ensured we had reliable pick-up and drop-off at every stage—completely removing any logistical stress from our trip.
We were truly impressed by ETA Adventures. Their budget package was priced significantly lower than many competitors, yet the experience we received was nothing short of 5-star. Highly recommended!

6 day safari Amboseli, Tsavo West & East
We had an overall amazing safari experience through Amboseli, Tsavo West, and Tsavo East. We encountered a lot of animals, big and small, right in front of us and hiding in the bushes. The accommodations were also very nice.
The organization was not always great. On our first day, we were ready for pick-up at 6:45 AM as agreed, but no one arrived. After some phone calls and a delay of about 1.5 hour, they picked us up and apologized as they had forgotten about our safari. Then we started our journey and drove from Nairobi to Amboseli.
We did several game drives through that park. The amount of animals is stunning. We saw so many elefants, zebras, gnus, and gazelles. And we were lucky to see a group of lions hunting and a family of cheetas playing.
We were unaware of the customary tipping expectations and unfortunately did not give enough initially. Our guide became very upset, and although we corrected and gave him the amount he expected, he left without saying goodbye.
Then we went by train from Amboseli to Tsavo, which was very smooth and were picked up by the next guide.
We slept in Ngulia Safari Lodge in the Tsavo West national park after an afternoon game drive to the rhino sanctuary.
The next day, we drove through the park to Tsavo East. Initially we tried to check in at the lodge but it turned out the reservation did not work. Our new guide managed to swiftly organize a stay at the Voi Safari Lodge, which was close by and offers stunning views to the national park. Tsavo East is much different than the other two parks but beautiful as well! The next day we went for a full game drive through much of the southern part of the park.
Both lodges are very beautiful with direct view on the animals coming to the nearbye waterholes. Our driver and guide Saidi was great. He was very kind and gave us much information about the animals in the park but also Kenya in general, and had no problems correcting all the organisational issues.
On the last day we went for a short morning game drive and were driven to the airport in Mombasa as planned.
Apart from the administrative issued we enjoyed the 6 day safari a lot.

Safari Dreams: Chasing Wildlife and Sunsets
This was my first time visiting Kenya. We did an 8-day safari to Masai Mara, Nakuru, Amboseli, and Mombasa—it was intense but so exciting! I was really tired, but also super happy to experience something so different. Before coming, I knew nothing about Africa and was honestly a bit scared. There were some unexpected moments, but the travel agency staff were amazing. Big thanks to the airport driver and especially our guide John—he was funny, patient, and always tried his best to find animals for us. We even shared snacks together. It was a really great trip!

cost-effective
Advantages: The staff have a great attitude, the prices are reasonable, the itinerary is quite rich, and the drivers are quite capable of spotting animals.
Disadvantages: Since it's a group tour, there are always 5 - 7 tourists on the bus, and they have different accommodation arrangements. The travel agency is the same as Super Eagle, but using different company names during hotel check - in can sometimes be confusing.
Overall, it's a really good trip. However, as the time goes by, I felt a bit tired in the later days, and I'm not quite used to the food in the hotel. The lions in Maasai Mara, the elephant herds at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, and the brilliant starry sky are all amazing. It's a pity that I didn't get a clear view of the leopard hiding in the bushes. I was a bit disappointed that there aren't many other special animals in Amboseli except the elephant herds.
