Organized
Julius is very responsive and arranged stays, transportations, food, water, and the safari.
Our safari driver/guide Khalid is experienced driver, good communicator too. We had a traveling chef Dale cooked breakfast , lunch and dinner while on safari. Loved his food !
I would recommend Toilo Safari for my friends and family.

Unforgettable Safari Experience in Tanzania
I had an amazing safari experience in Tanzania. From the start, the communication was excellent — Julius, the coordinator, was always polite and quick to respond on WhatsApp, and he even came to meet us the day before the tour to go over the details in person. This gave us a lot of confidence and made everything feel very well organized.
Our guide, Maximilian, was fantastic — always full of energy, cheerful, and clearly passionate about his work. He made every drive fun and engaging, sharing his knowledge with enthusiasm. The meals during the tour were also delicious and exceeded our expectations.
This was the most affordable option, so instead of luxury hotels we camped inside the national parks. Far from being a drawback, it was a highlight of the trip — falling asleep to the sounds of nature and waking up to wildlife around us was unforgettable. The tents were comfortable, and there was even a shared area where we could charge our devices, which was very convenient.
We didn’t get to see rhinos or leopards, but we saw almost everything else — lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many more. Beyond the animals, the landscapes themselves were breathtaking, from endless savannahs to dramatic sunsets.
Overall, everything was smooth, friendly, and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true safari adventure in Tanzania!

Unforgettable Experience
I had the most incredible safari experience! From start to finish, the coordination and responsiveness were absolutely top-notch — everything was so well organized yet flexible enough to make the trip feel effortless and personalized. Our guide was outstanding: knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about wildlife, which made every game drive unforgettable. The chef was equally amazing — every meal was delicious and far beyond what I expected in the middle of the bush!
The highlight of the trip was the breathtaking hot air balloon ride over the savannah, followed by an unforgettable safari that gave us up-close encounters with nature at its finest. Every detail was handled with such care, making this a seamless and truly once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Our safari adventure through Tanzania was truly unforgettable. From the heart of the savannah to the soft beaches of Zanzibar, every moment felt like something out of a dream! The locations were wild and beautiful, yet felt completely safe and comfortable. At night, we were serenaded by the sounds of nature, a powerful reminder that we were guests in something much bigger than ourselves!
Julius took care of everything with incredible professionalism, making the whole journey feel effortless! Our guide Khaleed was outstanding, just a kind, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the land and its wildlife. The car was in top condition, so we avoided problems we saw other vehicles run into such as breakdowns, getting stuck in the mud and flat tires. We just cruised through smoothly and without stress. The food was great, and the overall atmosphere was the perfect blend of adventure and comfort.
But what made this trip truly life-changing was Tanzania itself and its people. There’s something deeply inspiring about the way Tanzanians live. Their perspective on life is rooted in community, balance, and presence. It’s not just about what they say, it’s how they live, how they treat others, and how they find joy and meaning in the everyday. I felt a genuine connection right away, like I wasn’t just visiting, I was welcomed!

A big thanks to the team of Toilo for making my dream tour of magical Tanzania and Zanzibar
I cannot express my gratitude enough for all the hard work Julius put in to tailor a memorable bush to beach experience. He managed to organize the trip exactly like I wanted on short notice (2 months in advance). Julius is so easy to communicate with and responds quickly regardless of the time of day. It was great to meet him in person because he is a likable person.
I wanted a mid-range private bush to beach experience, and all the accommodations exceeded my already high expectations. The total price was more than reasonable, I would probably not save anything/very little if I would book everything myself.
The staff in all the accommodations were lovely, the food was more than enough and ranging from good to delicious. The locations were all prime as well.
The car was in top condition, and we never had any issues in the rough terrains. We had a cooler in the car filled with water, juices, beer and wine. It was so much that we did not even get through half of it.
We were so lucky to have Khalid/Khaleed as our guide and driver for the safari. He has a vast knowledge of the flora and fauna, along with top notch driving skills. We never felt unsafe with him behind the wheels. He is also a very laid back and genuine person, which can also be said about Julius.

The safari everyone should go on!
This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Julius with Tolio tours was very easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. Everything was smooth from the get go! We had the most amazing chef who cooked fresh meals everyday! From what we could see, this was the best company for solo travellers, couples, friends and people who are below the age of 50! I couldn’t be happier with my experience

Tailor-made safari, timeless memories
A big thank you to Julius for turning the celebration of my husband's 50th birthday into a magical and unforgettable family event. He organized a tailor-made safari and accommodations with excellent value for money, along with a French-speaking guide, Amani, who was highly knowledgeable about the savannah (especially the Serengeti), and a cook who prepared delicious homemade meals for us. We shared some truly wonderful moments with both of them, and they were also very respectful of our family's privacy.
We also had the incredible chance to take a hot air balloon flight over Serengeti National Park. Floating above the plains at sunrise, with wildlife roaming below us, was a breathtaking and emotional experience we'll never forget.
Julius exceeded our expectations by always being attentive and communicating effectively, both well before and throughout our trip. We warmly recommend him, as he will be able to advise you based on your preferences and budget, and find the best options to ensure your satisfaction.
