Incredible Gorilla Trek Expedition!
5/5

My time in Rwanda was beyond extraordinary, thanks to the flawless coordination and professionalism of the team who organized my gorilla trek, golden monkey trek, and visit to the Dian Fossey grave site. From start to finish, everything ran seamlessly — transfers, permits, timing, and communication were handled with precision and care.

Barrack, my guide, was amazing! He adjusted plans effortlessly to make sure every moment was optimized. Despite being deep in the forest, I always felt completely safe and well looked after.
The gorilla trek was simply life-changing — respectful and perfectly paced. The golden monkey trek brought a joyful contrast, and the hike to the Dian Fossey grave site added a deeply meaningful, historical layer to the experience.
Every aspect reflected care, expertise, and respect for both visitors and wildlife. I can’t recommend this team enough!

Incredible experiences, amazing guides, great communication
5/5

We booked the 3D2N package (Gorilla trekking + Golden Monkeys) with Rwindi Safari, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had. The itinerary was perfectly balanced — starting with a visit to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda to see the playful golden monkeys, followed by an insightful cultural trip to meet the Batwa tribe in Uganda, and finishing with the absolutely unforgettable gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest.

A huge part of what made this trip so special were our incredible guides, John and Laban. From start to finish, they created a fantastic atmosphere filled with knowledge, stories, and plenty of laughs. They went above and beyond in every instance to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of, while also giving us a deeper appreciation for the culture of the region.

The communication with Rwindi Safari during the booking process was also excellent — clear, responsive, and professional, which made planning effortless.

The experiences themselves were nothing short of amazing, with the gorilla trekking standing out as the highlight — an awe-inspiring encounter we will never forget.

Overall, this was truly one of the best travel experiences we’ve had, and we would wholeheartedly recommend booking with Rwindi Safari. A final big thank you again to our amazing guides, John and Laban, for making it all so unforgettable!

Excellent experience!
5/5

This tour was well organized, and a wonderful experience! Need to be patient with correspondence, but I would not hesitate to use this tour company again, everything was as promised and advertised on the site. My guide to Uganda from Rwanda, Noah, was wonderful and accommodating, the trek up to see the gorillas was challenging but manageable, accommodations were comfortable, the park rangers and trackers in Bwindi were professional and helpful, and actually seeing the gorillas and spending time with the guides and the trackers in Uganda was quite a pleasure, highly recommended!

Unforgettable experience
5/5

This is a must-do if you’re coming to Rwanda. Great transportation. Our guide Torero was incredible. He was informative and made us feel safe during the hike and with the gorillas. He gave us ample time to spend with the gorillas. We hired a porter at the base of the mountain to help support the local community. The only thing I would say could be improved is communication from Rwindi. I had to email the day before to get information about the driver and pick-up time. It would be great if the company reached out on their own a few days before to confirm the details of the trip.

they craft journeys that resonate personally.
5/5

As adventure lovers, my partner and I wanted a trip full of excitement and natural beauty, and Expedition Rwindi Voyage delivered beyond expectations. From the first day, the team demonstrated professionalism, warmth, and adaptability, ensuring that each moment was memorable. The gorilla trekking experience was extraordinary — hiking through dense forests, spotting birds, monkeys, and other wildlife along the way, and finally coming face-to-face with a gorilla family. Observing the gentle giants in their natural habitat was humbling, and sharing the experience with my partner made it even more special. Beyond trekking, we hiked Volcanoes National Park trails, kayaked on Lake Kivu, and visited scenic viewpoints that offered breathtaking panoramas. Lodges were carefully selected for comfort and beauty, and each evening we enjoyed delicious meals featuring local and international cuisine while reflecting on our adventures. The guides were not only knowledgeable but also personable, sharing stories about Rwanda’s culture, history, and conservation efforts. Every day balanced adventure with relaxation, education, and authentic cultural experiences. Expedition Rwindi Voyage doesn’t just plan trips; they craft journeys that resonate personally. For couples seeking a combination of adventure, culture, and comfort, this company provides an unforgettable and seamless experience that leaves lifelong memories.

Perfect for Families — A Safe, Joyful Adventure
5/5

Traveling with two children can be stressful, especially in a new country, but Expedition Rwindi Voyage made every step effortless. They understood our needs as a family and built an itinerary that balanced excitement with rest. We saw wildlife up close — from playful golden monkeys to towering giraffes — and yet at no point did we feel rushed or unsafe. The guides were wonderful with the kids, answering their endless questions with patience and genuine warmth. The accommodations were family-friendly, clean, and comfortable, with food that even our picky eater enjoyed! What I appreciated most was how thoughtful the planning was: enough adventure for us adults, enough fun and downtime for the kids, and smooth logistics so we could simply relax. Rwanda is a gem of a destination, and seeing it through the care and expertise of this company made it shine even brighter. The children are still talking about “our friend the guide” weeks later. If you’re considering a trip as a family, this is the team you want by your side — safe, organized, fun, and truly caring.

Fantastic Uganda Tour
5/5

Everything was perfect and according to planned. The company of Noah during my 4 days journey from Kigali to Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Mgahinga mountains was helpful and entertaining. I would contact again Rwindi Expeditions if I had to travel to Uganda again.

We had the best time at Expedition Rwindi Voyage
5/5

We had the best time at Expedition Rwindi Voyage! It exceeded our expectations. From the start, the staff was very friendly and encouraged us to explore. The whole place was clean, well-organized, and a lot of fun.

We saw so many beautiful animals up close - elephants, giraffes, lions, and more. Some of them even came right up to our car, which was the funniest thing! The guides shared fun tidbits of information along the way, but it never felt too formal or "tour guide-y" - just fun and easy-going.

Overall, this group is truly amazing. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's 100% worth a visit. We left with so many fun memories!
