Emanuel did a great job getting us to see the most animals possible and explaining about them.
Our guide made sure that our itinerary was fulfilled, was well prepared and on time. We were told each day what was going to happen and when. The guide was fun and had funny stories to tell. Accommodations were very nice.

Macha is by the one and only guide for Tanzania I would recommend.
My wife and I are just ending our honeymoon safari with Mambeu Safaris. We were privileged to have Emmanuel Macha as our guide and can’t say enough positive things about how amazing our safari was. Mambeu Safaris arranged everything for our 9 day trip to Tanzania - including hotels, transportation, and meals - even for the days when we weren’t on safari! Everything was personalized and planned out to give us the most amazing experience ever!
Macha and his team at Mambeu Safaris go above and beyond. Macha is very patient and knowledgeable about the specific types of birds and animals. We asked numerous questions and he educated us about wildlife, the culture, and history of the areas where we traveled. We took so many pictures of wildlife that looked like they appeared out of a National Geographic magazine! Our lunches during the safari were hot lunches from the restaurants of the lodges where we stayed - unlike other companies that do bagged cold lunches. We highly recommend them for your next safari to the beautiful country of Tanzania!
A bit about our trip…
Our journey into Tanzania was flawless. We landed into Mt Kilimanjaro airport where Mambeu Safaris had arranged for a driver and travel consultant to pick us up and take us into the heart of Arusha to visit a wonderful art gallery and shops. After our stay that night at the gorgeous Gran Melia, Emmanuel Macha picked us up and we drove straight to our first safari visit in Tarangire National Park. We spent an entire day seeing so much wildlife. We especially enjoyed seeing so many elephants and giraffes up close! We ate a delicious hot lunch picnic with an assortment of drink choices (to include safari beer!). We then stayed at Lake Burunge Boabab Tented lodge. The accommodations there were perfect. We even saw warthogs, zebras, and elephants from our porch of our private deck!
From there, we journeyed to the Ngorongoro Crater for another amazing day of safari. We saw again so many animals - to include a serval, elephants, hippos, and a confident lioness! We ate a picnic lunch outside on a picnic table overlooking a small lake with hippos.
That evening, we stayed at Lions Paw Lodge, where we were able to dance with the Masai people, who did a presentation of song and dance for guests. The view was gorgeous. Mambeu Safaris had notified the Lions Paw ahead of time about it being our honeymoon and we were given a surprise song and “honeymoon” cake at the restaurant. So thoughtful!
The next two days we spent visiting the Serengeti. Macha was an incredible guide who knows all of the parks well. We saw so many big cats- lions, a leopard, and cheetahs! We even saw ten cheetahs in one day - which is a huge number. We stayed at Kubu Kubu - which was incredible. We woke up to jaw dropping views which included impalas and giraffes.
We can’t say enough good things and can’t wait to come back for another Mambeu Safari!

Just fantastic!. A life’s ambition come true. Ngorongoro Crater today was unbelievable. I saw most of the large and small animals you could want including lions, rhino, elephants and hippos in a remarkable setting deep inside an extinct volcano! This was part of a 9day midrange safari specially designed for me which also included Tarangire and Serengeti NPs. The organisation was very good and the overnight stays memorable. I particularly enjoyed Tarangire Safari Lodge and Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp. Amongst the unforgettable experiences the highlights were being (and sleeping) in the middle of The Migration, seeing six lion cubs taking on a hyena and standing next to a pool of fifty hippos! My guide Emmanuel was very knowledgeable and attentive, and it was a pleasure to spend the 9 days with him. What more can I say but check out Mambeu, you will not be disappointed but rather totally thrilled!

Very knowledgeable and personable.
I went on Safari with my sister last September. I was not prepared for everything to be so wonderful! The accommodations were comfortable, the food was good, and best of all the guides were outstanding! Both Macha and James were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We both felt comfortable and well taken care of by the guides and the places we stayed. I highly recommend using this tour company to guide you through an excellent experience in Tanzania !
Seeing the animals was life-changing and it's all because Macha made it happen!!!
Cannot rave enough about how attentive Macha was. It was our first time to Africa and certainly won't be our last!! We will only be returning to Tanzania just to join Macha again!!

Incredible experience
Huge shout out to Macha for helping guide us through an incredible experience through the Serengeti. We woke up every morning to the vehicle prepared, plenty of lunch, and a organized itinerary. We never felt too rushed or too slow at any point during the journey - even with our packed schedule.
Thanks to his experience we were able to see all the animals we were hoping to see. Throughout the whole experience my group felt safe and well looked after - even after we accidentally slept in one night.

Tanzania tour with Mambeu Tanzania Safaris - a dream came true.
It was a fantastic week well spent in mid-August in Tanzania, for my wife and myself, thanks to our driver/guide Emma with 12 years of experience. His experience was a super bonus to us as he did his utmost to satisfy all our requests in trying to see all the different animals/birds of Northern and Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park. He took good care of us from the Serengeti airstrip pickup to the last stop at Arusha airport on our way to Zanzibar. He made sure that we felt safe and comfortable all the time but the most valuable thing for us was his knowledge and information given on all the animals, birds and even trees/plants seen on our path and he made sure that we really saw and understood all the possible animals in the areas visited.
We really feel fortunate that we had Emma as our guide in Tanzania as this was a dream trip we had planned in detail and we confirmed it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. We strongly recommend Emma of Mambeu Tanzania Safaris for his services and expertise around Tanzania.

Amazing Trip - Amazing Tour guide
me and my wife had an amazing time with Macha as our tour guide. he is extremely knowledgable and very kind, and it was once in a life time experience. i can highly recommend him to any couple who is looking for adventure and who at the same time appreciates expert knowledge on the nature and the animals.
