Amazing experience in Kilimanjaro with a kind guide and crew
Thanks to the kind guides and crew, we were able to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro.
Although it was my first time at such a high mountain, we were able to enjoy our trip safely and thanks to the guide who maintained our pace appropriately and led the way, the chef who prepared nutritious and delicious meals every day, the staff who pitched the tent for us to relax, and the porters and other crew members who relieved our burden.
As a local travel agency, I was truly satisfied with the affordable prices and friendly service, and I hope more people will create memories with this travel agency.

Four trips with Nafika š
We completed four trips with the Nafika tours: a safari, a trip to waterfalls, a climb on Mt. Meru and a climb on Kilimanjaro.
Taking part in the Kilimanjaro expedition was one of the best experiences of my life. The entire trip was extremely well organized ā from the first contact all the way to the safe return down. The guides were amazing: professional, patient, and encouraging, with detailed knowledge of the route and local conditions. Each day they explained what to expect, monitored our acclimatization, and made safety their priority.
The camp accommodation was surprisingly comfortable, the food was excellent, and the porter team worked with incredible dedication. The pace was set just right ā āpole poleā š„¾ Summit day was challenging, but with the teamās support and the great atmosphere, it became an unforgettable moment.

CHOOSING A NAFIKA WAS THE BEST DECISION
As a couple, we took part in four adventures with the Natika agency.
1) a safari,
2) visit to the waterfalls combined with a coffee tasting,
3) hike3days hike up Mt. Meru peak,
4) 7days hike to Kilimanjaro via Lemosho.
With the teamās support, warm atmosphere and attentive care, we successfully reached both peaks.
WHAT WAS DIFFERENT.
- individual approach to clients,
- what was agreed upon was valid,
- everything went smoothly and on time
- tents of Nafika were larger than those of other groups in the camps,
- services were more extensive than those of other agencies,
-the overall service exceeded our expectations and the level of European standards.
I want to give special thanks to our cook, whoādespite our very strict diet caused by a food allergyāstill managed to create a wonderful variety of tasty meals. Our appreciation also goes to the porters and, above all, to our guide, Innocent, who adjusted perfectly to our pace and even to our habit of listening to music. We felt truly comfortable with him throughout both climbs.

Kilimanjaro Summit with the best team!
Climbing Kilimanjaro was one of the most enjoyable and safest experiences I have ever had, thanks to the wonderful guides, chef, and support team from Nafika Tours. They took care of us from start to finish. The tents, meals, and rental gear were all excellent, and the team made us feel very safe with regular health checks and first-aid whenever needed. We were even served tea and coffee in our tents each morning, such a lovely touch!
The food prepared by Anold was absolutely delicious. We were always well fed, full of energy, and never hungry. Our summit guides and porters kept our spirits high by singing almost the entire way up, creating the most positive and uplifting atmosphere. It truly felt like one big family.
You can see how much every team member cares about giving you the best possible experience. I highly recommend Nafika Tours for an unforgettable Kilimanjaro adventure.

Wonderful Kiliamanjaro experience!
We had the most wonderful time an experience we will cherish forever. Our whole group felt so grateful for the amazing team who supported us. The porters, guides, waiter, and chef were all incredibly warm, caring, and dedicated. They went far beyond anything we expected.
The hike was beautifully organized, and we felt safe and well-looked-after throughout the entire journey. It was such a treat to enjoy delicious hot meals for lunch and dinner, and waking up to hot coffee delivered right to our tent made each morning feel special. The food was absolutely amazing!

They are reliable, professional and extremely caring.
I recently completed the Lemosho Route with Nafika Tours and I truly cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organised, and handled with such care. Elias was very responsive and reliable in communication prior, and I felt really well prepared before arriving in Tanzania.
Our guides (Meshack and Calvin) were exceptional ā incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and always prioritising safety. We had regular health checks, oxygen available, and they set a great pace to help acclimatise. The porters were absolutely amazing ā so hardworking and always smiling, creating such a positive atmosphere every day (special thanks to Williad and Oswad who really went above and beyond).
The food was delicious and exceeded all expectations thanks to our amazing Chef, Saidi ā the food was fresh, varied, and exactly what we needed to keep our energy up. They even went above and beyond to help me celebrate my birthday in the most special way. I reached the summit to a personalised birthday sign with my name and a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne! And if that wasnāt enough, they surprised me again by making a birthday cake. I felt so celebrated and cared for. I even got a bit sick during the climb, but the team looked after me with ginger and honey tea and lots of reassurance.
The only small issue was that our sleeping bags werenāt warm enough at first ā but as soon as we mentioned it, they arranged additional ones right away.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure and Nafika Tours helped make it unforgettable. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were amazing. If youāre thinking about climbing Kilimanjaro, Nafika will take amazing care of you every step of the way! šāØ

Adventure and humanity combined, special memories made!
didn't have an idea of what to expect, I was blown away by Nafika team coordination and dedication to their guests.
I will break my review into the following aspects;
1. Cordial Reception- starting from the pick up-timely, had the best drivers, picked the best hotel- with lots of activities, food and rest.
2. Care- Nafika tours team puts the clients needs, safety and best interest at heart. I thought gear check was a joke! Until they meticulously ensured all my gear was good and I had everything on the packing list.
The care extended even while hiking, our guides would ensure we take our time in acclimatizing to the high altitudes by monitoring our health and ensuring we eat, drink and rest well.
3. Guides & Porters - We had the best guides Walter & Albert, their constant encouragement to go Pole pole!, sippy sippy and drinks drinky was so so energizing. Their experience, songs and stories made everyday easier for us.
The porters & best Chefs- Peter, J4, Nelson, Alex, Judica, Samuel, Husein and Honest. These guys made mountain climbing look so easy. Walking very first with grace, carrying out stuff with so much care and love and always arriving before us despite us leaving earlier and picking the best spot with network reception at each camp!
Their warm welcome and smiles at the campsite with a dust brush, hot towel to wash and hot 5 star hotel food was always a pleasure to look forward to.
4. Client support - the best client support award goes to Nafika tours team, in general I would always recommend them in Kilimanjaro tours and all other tours in Tanzania. They have the heart for adventure and make lasting memories and connections with their clients!

I contacted Nafika Tours for my Kilimanjaro climb in June 2025, and from my very first call, my experience with them has been absolutely incredible.

Climbing Kilimanjaro this September with Nafika Tours was one of those experiences that stays with you long after youāve come down from the mountain. Choosing the right guiding company is probably the most important decision you make for a climb like this, and going with Nafika again felt like coming back to family :))
From the very beginning, everything was handled with care. Nafika, and especially Elias, the owner, sent us detailed pre-trip information, packing lists, and medical advice, and checked in personally before the climb. That attention to detail set the tone for the whole experience: organized, thoughtful, and reassuring. Our team of 4 took the Lemosho Route, a beautiful and challenging path. We were guided by Innocent and Frank, joyful, knowledgeable, patient, and full of humor. They knew every plant, every story, and somehow always knew what we needed before we did :))
The food was amazing, and the team managed to accommodate all our special requests, special thanks to Arno, our cook, and Jackson, our waiter, who made every meal so special. Daily medical checks gave us confidence that we were in good hands.
A huge thanks also to the rest of the magic crew, the porters who carried our bags, set up camp, danced, smiled, and made us feel like part of a big family, Jumanne, Shedrack, Samuel, Thomas, Paulo, Abel, Patrick, Samuel, Nickson, Ewald, Joackim.
I rented a down jacket from Nafika instead of bringing my own, it was perfect for summit night. They also rent high-quality gear like poles and gaiters, which makes planning so much easier.

It is a relatively small LOCAL tour company - so you're not just any customer and a number - your individual needs will be taken seriously and the crew will take excellent care of you!
The tour was well organized and the crew went above and beyond.
Shoutout to Walter & Albert - the best guides, to Peter - our chef, Judica - our summit porter, to Nelson "Mandela" - our waiter who picked the best tea spots and our porters Alex, Samu, Honest and Husein. And of course, the onen and only J4 - who made sure our tents were in place and our e-mails being sent :)
