Unforgettable safari experience
We had an amazing custom trip organized by this agency. Their communication was incredibly fast and the guides were fantastic—being locals, they gave us so many unique tips that made our experience truly special.
Even when we hit an unexpected closed road on the Panorama Route, they resolved it immediately without any stress for us. The Kruger safaris were also perfectly organized, with easy pickups right from our lodges. If you want a professional, tailor-made adventure, look no further!

First of all I want to thank the whole team for this unforgettable experience!
We stayed at the Kruger Gate Hotel and it was perfect, even better than described/in the pictures.
The team, Konghi, Norman (in the field) and Marcus always made us feel welcome and provided us with the best safari experience possible.
Special thanks goes to Norman (in the office) who was always super quick to reply and answer all of my questions, even during the stay.

Very accommodating tour operator and staff
Great value for money. Tour operator was very accommodating with out late arrival time but did not let it impact the safari time. We were also able to organise late check out. Big thanks to Norman and Khongi for making the experience so incredible

Very Knowledgeable and Professional
Pilanesberg Safari Nature Reserve park was so beautiful. The wildlife scenery was very beautiful to look at. Seeing most of the big 5 was so exciting. The weather was nice, lunch provided was very tasty and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the various types of wildlife and their characteristics. It was worth the money. I totally recommend this tour.

Wonderful, comfortable, safe and cozy experience.
I tried to order Pilanesberg through other couple of agencies, but they could not provide door to door service from Pretoria, and their options were very uncomfortable and more expensive. I was advised by the Lithuanian Embassy to contact you. With Nhlalala Travel everything was easy, smooth, nice and without stress from ordering the safari with door to door service to safari experience itself.
Driver Norman was on time, very friendly, caring and helpful. Pilanesberg guide Tabo was also very caring, easy going and at the same time he really put an effort, so we could see a lot and he was also patient, with humour and lots of knowledge about his work and wild animals.
It was my son’s 8th birthday, so Norman, Tabo and others took care of it to make it really special. There was signing in the car and at the restaurant. I am really grateful to those wonderful ladies at the restaurant, who sang so beautifully and arranged ice cream and everything else.
I was worried that the whole Safari experience could be stressful, but, as Norman said, we were in good hands, and we did not experience any stress or problems. I am really grateful.

Excellent Drivers who escorted me to where I wanted to go.
The overall value for money was great. The alllowed me at the last minute, while in Kruger, to change my itinerary with out cost, which gave me more time in the Kruger National Park.
i chose 3 star accommodations which were perfectly adequate and actually very nice.
The sub contracted tours, were in very equiped vehicles.
This wasnt a luxury tour, but it was everything that I wanted and higher quality than a 3 star as promised.
Khongi was a great driver, very service oriented and provided top notch service and attention.
I would use this tour company again.

We booked Nhlalala Travel’s 4-day Kruger package several months in advance and from the very first email they were outstanding. Norman was quick to respond, super flexible, and happily customized our itinerary exactly the way we wanted. We even added extra passengers to the group shortly before departure and they made it completely seamless.
On the day of travel, our guide Norman picked us up from Johannesburg and handled the 6-hour drive to Kruger Gate Hotel (and back) comfortably and professionally. The Kruger Gate Hotel itself was fantastic; beautiful location right at the gate, lovely rooms, friendly staff, and great food.
Norman absolutely made the trip. He is hands-down one of the best guides we’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, but also warm, funny, patient, and genuinely caring. Whenever we wanted to tweak the schedule or make changes, Norman adapted instantly and always delivered something even better than we expected. His passion for Kruger is contagious; you can tell he loves what he does.
We saw the Big 5 multiple times, countless elephants up close, wild dogs, giraffes, hyenas, zebras, lions, hippos, and had so many magical moments we’ll never forget.
Everything ran like clockwork, yet it never felt rushed or “touristy.” It felt personal and special from start to finish. Norman always stayed in communication on WhatsApp.
