A great, flexible and fun tour operator!
We had an amazing Safari with Shayona! We started in Mwanza and ended the safari in Arusha. It was a trip of a lifetime. 6 leopards, 4 cheetahs, so many elephants, lions, wildebeests, waterbuffolo and so much more. Ritesh from Shayona really liked to think along with our travel. We wanted to stay in three different hotels in the Serengeti/Ngorongoro. As we wanted to see as much of the parks. At first they only gave us one option to stay at but they adapted and gave us exactly what we wanted. The stays were great, clean and so beautiful! Great views of the Serengeti whilst eating your dinner, spotting wild elephants and other animals, what a dream!
Then the driver/guide, Onesmo, what a amazing guy! His english was very good and he was great at spotting animals. He could explain a lot about the area and animals we encountered. We were of course very lucky with what we saw during our safari bit he also made sure we saw what we wanted to see and was very flexible with going different routes and always finding the best places to stop.
If you want to go on safari in the Serengeti, go with Shayona! You won’t regret it.

Our safari with Sayona Tours was an incredible experience from beginning to end. A huge part of what made this trip so special was our guide, Revo. His deep knowledge of the parks, animal behavior, and game drive routes was exceptional, and his calm, thoughtful approach made us feel safe and well cared for at all times. He seemed to know exactly where to go and when, which led to unforgettable wildlife sightings and truly memorable game drives. The luxury lodges and camps selected by Sayona Tours were equally impressive, offering comfort, beautiful settings, and attentive service that allowed us to fully relax after long days on safari. Everything was well organized, seamless, and thoughtfully planned, making this a truly special and stress free experience that we will always remember.

From the moment we began planning our trip to the Serengeti, we had several questions and considerations. We were incredibly lucky to have the best guides for our safari — punctual, professional, and a lot of fun to spend time with. Their knowledge of the wildlife and landscapes made game drives super exciting. Even after hours in the vehicle, we were engrossed throughout. Thanks to their expertise and keen eyes, we spotted an impressive variety of animals and birds — truly the highlight of our journey. The safari vehicle itself was spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable, even during long drives.
You could tell that every detail had been thought through to enhance our comfort and safety. Theres cold water and soft drinks in the vehicle as well.
Shayona Safaris took care of absolutely everything over the three days — from logistics to accommodations to meals — so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy. That sense of ease and trust made a huge difference, especially for a group visiting the region for the first time. Every dollar we spent felt completely worth it. We came away with some crazy memories and cannot recommend Shayona Safaris highly enough to anyone planning a Serengeti adventure.

Mwanza - Seregeti Three Day Safari
We had the most amazing safari experience with Shayona Safaris throughout our three day safari from Mwanza to the Western and Central Serengeti! Ajay went above and beyond to accommodate our safari throughout exceptional circumstances and our Safari Guide Karim was brilliant! The safari exceeded all expectations and Karim was incredibly friendly and welcoming, as well as putting so much effort into securing us seeing four of the big five in one day! The Seregeti accommodation was also amazing! Would highly recommend Shayona Safaris to anyone looking!

Incredible Experience
We were traveling with our 5 months old baby and naturally, I had a lot of questions before for Ritesh and his team. Ritesh took the time and answered all my questions. I had made a few requests mainly for baby related things and the moment I got there, I saw everything was already there.
The safari ride went super smoothly as the guides were very helpful. Everytime I had to nurse the baby, the guide would slow down. They were all super accommodating.
Would highly recommend Shayona tours for your safari adventures!

Absolutely amazing and super convenient
It was a fabulous experience, we were a group of 12 friends also accompanied by 5 months old baby. We did 2 nights and 3 days safari with Shayona.
From the get go, four months before the visit, i was continuously in touch with the owner Ritesh. He was very responsive and accommodated all our small requests. He was very professional and at the same time extended support esp because we had an infant with us. The two guides we had Onesmo and Karim - very sweet, patient, professional and fun people. They made our experience outstanding. Couldnt have asked for better guides for us.

Nice, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly
This tour was incredible. The tour operators were so friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us so many interesting facts about the animals and they went out of their way to show us a good time and as many animals as possible. They were very professional, always on time, and made us feel welcome.

Thank you to Ritesh and Ajay at Shoyona Safaries for organising a cracking tour. We were six of us we all had soo much fun also our driver (Dharminder) who went out of his way to take us everywhere.He could spot all the animals there were to see and made sure we didn’t miss anything.
