Professional and personalised
The communication was outstanding, all queries were responded to very promptly. Johann was amazing helping us personalise our tour adding a personal touch helping us celebrate a birthday. The company and all service providers were extremely reliable and professional. Given the quality of service and personal touch we felt it was value for money. Would highly recommend.

We used Jangwa safaris to assist in a 20 day Zambia to Botswana and Namibia tour. With transfers arranged from Zambia to Botswana, and self drive Windhoek to Windhoek via Fish River Canyon, Swakopmund, Etosha and many places in between!, this was an unforgettable experience for the 4 of us (two couples).
From the initial fact finding via online enquiry, emails, and WhatsApp, David and Johann provided answers to questions promptly, were able to tailor the trip to meet our needs, and provided professional information and recommendations regarding accommodation and vehicle options to meet our budget, travel itineraries and when trying to decide what we could comfortably achieve in the timeframe we had.
Having arranged travel bookings independently many times, this was a bit of a leap of faith for us to use and pay a company we were previously unaware of, in a country we had not previously travelled to, and were unsure of the legitimacy of. We should not have been concerned, everything was handled and managed very professionally, with the travel arrangements, transfers, rental vehicle, accommodations, and excursions exceeding expectations throughout.
We had one flight cancellation (externally arranged), but David and Johann were quick to accommodate our late changes and amendments , which made the experience reasonably stress free.
One of the selling points for us was the included excursions, and these were well worth having prearranged.
I cannot rate the team at Jangwa highly enough, we were appreciative of being able to meet David in person while in Namibia, and we hope we have the opportunity to use their services again in the future.
Botswana - we could only fit in a couple of nights at Chobe, but it was well worth it. Plenty of wildlife, the options of boat and land safaris gave different perspectives and the people, accommodation and meals were excellent!
Namibia - Outstanding! So glad we made the trip, some distance to cover, but the people, scenery, wildlife and many interesting accommodations on the way have us definitely hoping we can come back again in the future.

Professional, responsive, extremely helpful
Everything what happened in Namibia went far beyond all our expectations. We're seasoned travellers and usually organise everything by ourselves, this was the very first time when we used agency services. Johann prepared for us a tailor-made itinerary, listening attentively to all our needs and wants. We exchanged quite a few emails 😊, but he was very patient with us changing our mind quite a few times. We were offered a holiday that turned out to be a dream coming true 😊. Absolutely everything went seamless and Johann answered all the questions promptly when we texted him a few times while in Namibia. He also made sure we took the right road to the Fish River Canyon.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service, Reliability and Local Expertise
We recently returned from an unforgettable journey through Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa, and working with Jangwa Tours & Safaris was one of the best travel decisions we made.
From the very beginning, communication was excellent. Johann took the time to understand what kind of trip we were looking for and helped us put together an itinerary that perfectly balanced landscapes, wildlife, culture and relaxation. The result exceeded our expectations.
What truly stood out, however, was the service during the trip itself. As anyone who travels frequently knows, things do not always go according to plan. During our journey we experienced several flight cancellations and schedule changes, and even had to rearrange part of the itinerary due to circumstances beyond anyone's control. Every single time, Johann and the Jangwa team were proactive, responsive and solution-oriented. Instead of becoming stressful, these situations were handled smoothly and professionally.
One particularly memorable example was a change that led us to spend a night at an astronomy farm in Namibia. It ended up being one of the highlights of the entire trip, allowing us to experience one of the most spectacular night skies we have ever seen. Turning potential problems into memorable experiences is a rare skill, and Jangwa consistently demonstrated it.
The accommodations, activities, transfers and local partners were all carefully selected and of excellent quality. Throughout the trip we felt well looked after while still having the freedom and flexibility to enjoy the adventure at our own pace.
In terms of value for money, reliability, local knowledge and overall service, Jangwa Tours & Safaris delivered on every level. Our trip was filled with incredible memories: the Namib Desert, the Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park, Victoria Falls and Cape Town, and it was reassuring to know there was a highly professional team behind the scenes making everything work.

Johann made my trip to victoria falls a memorable and smooth sailing one. He was responsive, even on weekends. I liked that the tour details were on a app instead of pdf format, which was a much clearer and easier way to access. I enjoyed all the activities with Jangwa Tours in a seamless manner and trust that you would too

Fantastic experience
David worked so hard to put together a trip that met our time, interests and budget. He was wonderful in communicating with us before and during the trip. Take his advice and do the Sandwich Harbor Dune Tour! One note of advice: do not rent a Suzuki Jimny, upgrade to a better car. I recommend this company to everyone!

Johann felt like a friend than a tour operator
Johann made our entire experience truly unforgettable. From the moment we booked, his prompt communication and friendly support made us feel welcomed and excited, even before we arrived. Very professional
The tour that Jangwa offered worked like a dream. Everything was very well organised and all the arrangements were of the best quality.
What we liked most was that they are a very small company with very personal service.

Five star tour organizer
David Botha at Jangwa provided a meticulously crafted itinerary at a very reasonable price. He used his expertise to book a trip which included extras that were not widely known such as the night under the stars. Namibia is an adventure, and where David and Jangwa excelled was in constantly staying in touch with us over WhatsApp and seamlessly adjusting the itinerary when flights got delayed due to weather or transfers went earlier than planned. All lodges and hotels that they booked were very good and we had an amazing experience in Namibia!
We highly recommend using this company.
