Had a great time on our 3 day 2 night Safari to tsavo east and west with Netherken Safaris , after seeing other tour guides on Safari we were so glad we had Bashir as ours , he was fantastic , everything went smoothly, I would definitely recommend Netherken for your Safari

Reliable operator. From booking to picking us up to the actual safari had been good.
The driver, George, is knowledgeable about wildlife, birds/fowls and plants. He’s trying to get us see more during the game drive. Accommodations were the same as what we booked. The itinerary had been changed a bit but areas were covered except without going to the Rhino Sanctuary so we do end up seeing rhinos. George took us from Mombasa to Nairobi which was a long drive (I felt sorry for him). He was very nice and gave us a very quick tour of tge Nairobi town. We thanked him very much.

Another brilliant Safari
Just back from a wonderful Safari with Netherken Safaris. We were picked up from our hotel in Mombasa by Mahmud our driver. We had opted for the Jeep Safari, rather than the van. We travelled to Tsavo West, Amboseli and finally Tsavo East (4 days, 3 nights). we had a few niggles at one of the lodges we stayed in but that wasn't Netherkens fault.
As a birdwatcher/photographer, Mahmud soon got used to what I liked, his knowledge was unbelievable and we saw everything except a Rhino (even though we went to the Rhino sanctuary). Some of the birds were fantastic and I have some once in a lifetime shots.
Would definitely travel with Mahmud and Netherken again. Thoroughly recommended!

Exellent tour organization
I would like to sincerely thank the company for the exellent organisation of our 1-day safari! I would describe the tour operator as professional, reliable, and attentive to customer needs.
The tour was very well organized, from the transportation to our driver, who was very friendly and attentive. The price was definitely very fair for what we chose. I would highly recommend it to others.
They were communicative, organized, professional, and flexible.

Personalised and perfectly arranged trip with Mahmud from Netherken Safaris
From start at our place till dropping of at our next stay after the safari we had a great 3-day trip with our personal driver, visiting Tsavo West np and Amboseli np. It felt at home being with Mahmud, learning from him about more than the game and enjoying gamedrive, coffees and diners.

Good and flexible organization
We did this as one day safari private trip. Good communication from the operators, we have been met early in the morning at Mombasa airport. Driver was good and seen a lot of animals up close (no lions, but you cannot have everything). I liked the lunch settings - you can see a lot of animals while having meal. Recommended.
Cons - I did not like people at the entrance to the park, selling stuff, the guy was kind of rude when we politely refused the hats. But they probably do that to everyone after talking to other travelers. Feel like the driver should be present and tell them to leave.
And also did not enjoy the guys at the airport taking our bags to the jeep - we could to that ourselves, it was kind of confusing why were they even there.And they also asked 20$ each for 100m walk - no way hah. It could also been better communicated with the driver.
But I have enjoyed the day, and would go again.

A well-structured tour with a great driver
+ Communication was clear, all questions were answered promptly, Ton is very responsive. The driver Mahmud was fantastic - the ride to the park was very smooth, on the safari itself he was attentive and very good at spotting animals & providing explanations. We also liked that he quickly noticed that we are rather "calm" explorers and provided us with a lot of personal space; at the same time, he was always making sure our needs are met.
- The car was a bit dusty, particularly the seats; however, we acknowledge that it might be hard to keep it in shape each tour due to the amount of sand that gets in; the day-plan could have an approximate hourly plan for orientation

We had a wonderful time with our 4 days safari in Kenya. Our driver was very professional and discrete. The organization of the safari was spotless and the company accommodated our requests to change some of the hotels provided in the first quotation. Communication was very quick and easy. I had requested other 5 quotations before choosing Netherken and I would choose it again 😊
