Excellent organization, communication and support during the trip
Our experience with Tilman Safaris was wonderful – even before our arrival, Charles answered all our questions promptly. We were accompanied to Point Linnea on Mount Kenya by a team of five very friendly gentlemen, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Everything was well-prepared, and the welcome with hot drinks was very pleasant and helped us warm up after a rain shower. Even when last-minute changes were necessary, a good solution was found with great dedication. Highly recommended!

Nice hike, great weather, amazing food
I was surprised how big our team was and also our food was more than great. No problem at all with vegetarians. Our guide knew a lot about flowers and animals and was helpful. They lent us warm sleeping bags, so we weren't cold even at the highest altitudes. That was great, and our tent was waterproof and the mattresses were comfortable. I recommend bringing headache medicine with you because of the altitude.
But I would love to get more detailed list of things to carry with me. For example water filter would be nice to have because rivers and lakes as a water source are not safe enough for me. Also guide should have first aid kid with him not in the office and also weather forecast I think is important to check every day in mountains. Last but not least, I think that every company should carry a shovel for toilet needs. At every campsite, people go "in the bushes," and all campsites look accordingly. This is even the case around the lake from which drinking water is then taken. I think this needs to be changed.

“I couldn’t recommend them more! Everything—from communication to logistics—was incredibly smooth. Our trek on Mt. Kenya was fantastic. The whole team was warm, friendly, and great company. They shared lots of interesting information about the local flora and fauna, and the meals were both delicious and abundant. Even when I struggled with altitude sickness, they were exceptionally supportive and attentive. I’d absolutely book with them again!

Incredible experience, professionally organized.
Our experience with Tilman Safari was great. From the moment we got in contact with them, they were very responsive and provided multiple options for our mount Kenya trek. We got picked up in Mombasa and met the group on the way. Our two guides, Anthony and Leonard were very prepared and extremely nice. We were a group of 6 people and enjoyed every single day. I would recommend this experience to anyone! Make sure to bring a day backpack on top of your normal backpack. Last but not least, be aware that tipping is expected (it might be different from your country of origin).

Reliable guides,well- organised and extremely fun experience!
We had an incredible time hiking Mount Kenya. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and the atmosphere within the group was amazing. Our two guides were not only very experienced and reliable, but also genuinely fun to be around, making every part of the trek enjoyable. The porters were equally fantastic: super friendly, supportive, and always bringing great energy to the team. Even on the toughest day the summit push, they looked after us so well, encouraging us, checking in constantly, and making sure we reached the top safely and confidently. Truly an unforgettable adventure!

Great experience, super beautiful hike. The guides and porters are well equipped and experienced. The food was great and always perfect prepared. Even with a height sickness they managed the situation very well and brought me safe to the next hut. Cool experience, really recommendable.

Tillman Tour trys to get your journey es comfortable as possible. All meeting times were perfect, the guide Bernard and the porters were so perfect in there work. Best Mount Kenia Tour
Charles organised our tour perfectly from the pickup to the dropoff. For the mount Kenia hike we a whole team with guides, a cook and porters. Everyone was very kind and wanted to ensure an unforgettable experience. Our guides were very knowlegeable and told us a lot about the wildlife and plants of the National Park. We camped surrounded by beautiful nature and even spotted an elephant in the camp after the first night. Also the food was very delicious and exceeded our expectations. Overall, we can highly recommend Tilman Safaris.

Tillman’s offer fantastic and reliable tour services and great communication.
We first did a Mount Kenya tour for 4-5 days, the guides and porters were amazing and the food was great and we were all able to reach the summit with the help of Antony and Leonard guiding us.
Charles at Tillman’s then sorted us out an amazing Safari in Ol Pejeta where we stayed at Maisha Sweetwaters camp, everything was perfect.
