Amazing adventure for your trip to Kenya !
We did a 4 day Mt. Kenya trip with Tillman Safaris and could not fault a thing. We were in great hands with Leonard our guide, and the rest of the amazing team that accompanied us. The trek itself is some of the most unique scenery we have ever seen and whilst challenging reaching Lenana peak is an amazing feeling. Meals were extremely delicious and our tent set up really great, we were always comfortable thanks to the team. Thank you for helping us organise an amazing trek on such short notice, we loved it!

Amazing Mt Kenya Trek Experience!!
Absolutely amazing. The team of guide, chef and porters were extremely attentive and made life on the mountain as comfortable as possible. The cost of the trip and the amount of work the guys put in is 100% worth every cent and I couldn’t recommend them enough! The guide (Leonard) was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience seamless! One of the most underrated trips around, would definitely do it again!!

Charles from Tilman was quick to respond and make arrangements via WhatsApp. Their rates are good relative to alternatives and also good value. He also assisted with return transport from Nairobi. The crew was friendly, always willing to assist and prepared great meals. Leonard, the guide, was very knowledgeable on plants, trees, and animals of the region. I can definitely recommend Tilsman.

Great experience!!
We booked the five-day tour of climbing Mount Kenya and enjoyed exploring the beautiful valley with its lobelias, a wonderful waterfall, and nice campsites e.g. near Lake Ellis. The surrounding scenery was absolutely amazing.
We had a great team, an excellent guide, and a fantastic cook who prepared delicious meals with fresh fruits and vegetables. The food was nice presented, and they even created a lovely picnic spot with a nice tablecloth. The tents were new, and the equipment was of good quality.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience to climb the Mount Kenya as a family with our 3 teenagers.

An unforgettable 5-Day Mount Kenya Adventure with Tilman Safaris
We had a wonderful experience climbing Mount Kenya with Tilman Safaris. We did a 5-day trek from Chogoria to Point Lenana and back down via the Sirimon Route. It was a great route for acclimatization and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking.
Our guide Leonard was very knowledgeable and experienced. He always adapted to our pace and guided us safely throughout the trek.
We were supported by a whole team, which was a lovely surprise at the beginning. Everyone was very helpful and professional. A special thank you to our amazing chef Taylor, who prepared delicious and varied meals every day, no matter the altitude, weather, or campsite. We definitely never went hungry!
The porters also did a great job and worked very hard to support us throughout the trek.
Reaching Point Lenana for sunrise was an unforgettable moment and definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
Overall, the 5 days were an amazing experience. Thanks to the whole Tilman Safaris team for the great organization, all your effort, and for making this such a memorable adventure. We would definitely recommend them!

Awesome service
I am so glad I came across Tilman on this website. They were AMAZING! We aimed to spend four nights to climb Mt Kenya. In the end my youngest daughter couldn’t acclimatise and I felt super safe with their care and oxygen testing. It meant that two of us had the opportunity to summit, if we did the climb in one day. Our guide Anthony and Tilman lead Leonard made it possible and we are super grateful to them.
The Camp team were awesome, food fabulous (three courses each evening) and when we got wet, they dried all our kit around a camp fire.
We climbed from Lake Ellis and it is so beautiful.
