Mambo Mazuri (all is good) - Most incredible safari experience
High Neck Safaris offered us an incredible safari experience. It was our first visit to Africa. We received all necessary information on time, and Octavian (our contact person) made sure, that the safari was customized to all our wishes. He answered to all our questions quickly. Everything was well organized, especially the transfer from the airport worked well, our driver was already waiting for us.
Our safari began in the morning in Arusha with meeting our guide Edward. He welcomed us with a friendly smile, and we already had a good feeling since the beginning. During our safari (7 days overall, 5 days out in the national parks), we were able to see every animal we could have wished for. Edward showed us incredible places, that were far away from the masses. He cared about everything and fulfilled all our needs and wishes. We learned a lot about the wildlife as well as the Tanzanian culture and people. We are very thankful for every minute, and enjoyed it to the best. Leaving Serengeti and Ngorongoro in the end of our trip was quite hard, because of its beauty and the great experience. To put it in a nutshell, we highly recommend High Neck Safaris to everyone!

Professional and Meticulous
We selected Highneck Safaris among several local tour operators, as they provided a custom proposal that perfectly matched our needs. Communication was excellent both before and during the trip. Our driver, Edward, was not only a very good driver but also a knowledgeable guide. He took us beyond the standard tourist routes, showing us alternative paths where we could experience nature and wildlife without crowds or other vehicles. Considering our mid-to-high budget, the lodges and food were overall very good. We highly recommend this young yet professional tour operator.

Exceptional Five-Day Safari Experience in Tanzania
We had an amazing five-day safari experience in Tanzania, and the entire trip was perfectly organized. From start to finish, everything was carefully checked and planned in the best possible way.
The hotels were very comfortable, and all the meals were delicious. It was clear that every detail was thoughtfully considered to ensure a smooth and unforgettable experience.

My friends and I had a great time in Kenya and Tanzania. Zakaria was accommodating and very patient with our plan. I think they only offer tour in Tanzania. But he made it possible for us to combine Kenya and Tanzania. So less stress for us to coordinate transfers between 2 countries. All the staffs from 4 different accommodations were helpful. When one of our friends got really sick, Suzanne (our coordinator from Kenya) made sure our friend was well taken care of and coordinated a transport back to the city to get the necessary treatment. Our drivers/guides, James (Kenya) and Rajeb (Tanzania) did their best to make sure we have an amazing experience during the safari.
Just to clarify, our friend was already feeling sick before arriving to Kenya (Doctors ruled it as side effect from the vaccine). So it’s not caused by what we ate or drank there.

We had an incredible 5-day safari in Tanzania with Edward as part of our honeymoon, and it was truly unforgettable. Edward knew all the best spots, had an amazing eye for wildlife, and made sure we saw the Big Five! He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to educate us about each animal and the surrounding nature. Beyond that, he was so personable, kind, and genuinely made the experience feel special.
The lodges and restaurants along the way were also outstanding, comfortable, welcoming, and full of character. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Incredible Guides, Unforgettable Memories!
Our experience with High Neck Safaris was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was organized with care, professionalism, and genuine warmth.
We had Daniel as our guide in Moshi, for our trek to the first camp on Kilimanjaro and our visit to Chemka Hot Springs. He made us feel so safe and comfortable the entire time. Daniel went out of his way to make the tour personalized to us, and by the end of our trip, we truly felt like family. His knowledge of the area’s history, culture, and nature was incredible — we learned so much from him and really appreciated his enthusiasm and kindness. We hope to see him again one day!
For our safari and tribe visits, we were guided by Edward, who was equally amazing. His safari truck was top of the line, and his experience and expertise really showed. He always knew the best spots and timing to see wildlife, and his deep knowledge about the animals and environment made every moment exciting and educational. Edward was friendly, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make our safari perfectly tailored to what we wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Our tour operator was flexible, patient and extremely knowledgable
My wife and I visited Tanzania with Edward guiding us on behalf of Highneck Safaris. Edward, our guide, was amazing and incredibly friendly. We connected immediately and he really improved our trip so much with how knowledgeable he was about the animals and environments we were going through in and out of the parks. He also has the eyes of an eagle and spotted so much that we would have missed. The support from the office was amazing as well, they kept in constant contact making sure we were enjoying our time and the office even came up with more activities we could add to our package depending on the area we were in. We would absolutely book with Highneck's again and we probably will again in the future, since this will not be our last trip to Tanzania!
