Francis was our guide in Uganda, always planning and coordinating our activities well ahead. all went smoothly. Francis is a very friendly person and a great companion. In Rwanda we had Sam as our guide. again, a friendly guy, a great companion for discussions, all was coordinated and went smoothly. Great companions for a very exciting and interesting adventure.

Amazing Full Service
5/5

I’ve been on over 10 safaris and I fully recommend the shuttle hospitality. From start to finish they took care of me with every aspect running smooth.
For starters Bob was in constant contact making sure everything is set to my liking. Booking a safari from 10000 miles away and not knowing what’s going on I have to say that communication is key and The shuttle really comes through.
They are completely trustworthy.
Bob set up everything from transportation to lodges to activities to meals without me having to worry about a single thing from the moment I arrived until drop off at the airport. Not to mention he even picked me up from all the way from Rwanda and took me through the border crossing just because my flight plan was easier that way.

The guide was excellent and knowledgeable which makes all the difference. They also provided proper safari jeeps despite being in Uganda not like some operators who opt for a horrible tourist minivan.

Overall I cannot recommend them enough. If you want to see gorillas and need arrangements in Uganda definitely go with The Shuttle. I also recommend sticking to Uganda. Bwindi is mix nicer for gorilla than Rwanda.

WONDERFUL UGANDA EXPERIENCE
5/5

My tour operator, Bob Nankunda, dud a WONDERFUL job organizing my Uganda Safari and was well take care if by loan guide, Joan. Murchison alls was fabulous, the game drive and boat trips perfect. Ny only disappointment was that I arrived the day after tow national election, the internet had been turned off since 4 days before I arrived of a Friday and not expected to be turned back on until the following Monday,. Luckily when I woke up Sunday morning the internet was up and running. Understand Shuttle Hospitality had no control over this, Because of the political upheaval in Kmpala, my visit to the Ghetto Kids compound, (kids that appeared on America's Got Talent was canceled and a big disappointment, but this had nothing to do with Shuttle Hospitality wonderful work. Just means I will have to rerurn to Uganda again under their supervision. Thanks for everything. The Rhinoceros Sanctuary visit on the way to Murchison Falls was outstanding. xoxoxox

Well organized, very friendly and extraordinary helpful - highly recommended 5 days trip
5/5

We had an excellent experience with The Shuttle Hospitality during our private five days trip in Uganda and can wholeheartedly recommend them.

From the very first contact with the owner of the company Bob the communication was clear, very fast, and professional - even of the short timing of the booking he made everything possible. Our itinerary of "only" five days was as we wished packed with different activities and different places. This help us to see even in a very short time a lot of Uganda and the beauty of it (nature, people/culture and wildlife).

The quality of the "on-ground" organization was also perfect. Transfers were always on time, the vehicle was comfortable and well maintained, and we always felt safe – even on long drives. Our guide Francis was not only very experienced and knowledgeable about the country, wildlife, and local culture, well connected to other people/guides but also genuinely friendly and attentive. He adapted the pace to our needs and made sure we felt comfortable at all times. He might be also one of the fasted drivers in Uganda (no reckless driving) which was the reason why we had the possability to do a lot of activities in a very short time.

Highlights like Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (gorilla trekking & batwa trail), Queen Elizabeth National Park (Safari & boat ride), Kibale Forest (chimpanzee trekking & community walk), and Lake Bunyonyi were seamlessly connected, without unnecessary repetition. During the two game drives helped Francis network and his knowledge of the places to see three times a leopard, (the treeclimbing) lion(s) and other wildlife. Accommodations were well chosen, clean, and beautifully/nearly located, often with great views.

We also appreciated how transparent and honest The Shuttle Hospitality was – no overpromising, no hidden costs, and realistic advice about what is worth doing and what isn’t. This made the entire trip feel very trustworthy and relaxed.

Overall, The Shuttle Hospitality delivered a highly professional yet personal travel experience, and we would not hesitate to book with them again or recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Uganda or the region.

Thank you for an unforgettable journey!

Exceded Our Expectations
5/5

Thank you Bob for the fabulous time we had on our trip that we booked with Shuttle Hospitality. It far exceeded our expectations. The Mahogany Springs Lodge was superb and the staff there was so helpful and attentive to all of our needs. We were given a luxury suite which was truly amazing and totally unexpected.

I can’t say enough positive things about Francis. He was so kind, efficient, helpful, thoughtful and always willing to assist with anything we needed. He even gave us his jacket to wear when we were freezing cold and wet after the gorilla trek in pouring cold rain! That made all the difference in our comfort during the 2 hour ride back to the lodge after the trek. He is a kind man as well as a great driver on treacherous roads.

I would highly recommend The Shuttle Hospitality to anyone interested in booking an amazing experience in Uganda.

Sincerely,
Tina

Attention to the smallest detail! Fulfilled a lifetime dream. The best tour company in Uganda!
5/5

We began planning this 3 week adventure almost a year prior to arriving. Bob, the owner was a class act. After inquiring from 6 to 7 different tour companies, Bob responded with a professional. Proposal with details on every day’s activities and each day accommodations. His presentation was so complete we decided we had to inquire further from shuttle hospitality. During every stage of our planning, Bob was supportive and responsive almost immediately to every inquiry we had. He took the stress out of What could otherwise have been a bit overwhelming.

After all our questions had been resolved, and a long trip from the US we arrived in Kampala Uganda with the VIP treatment. We were greeted at the plane, not in arrivals, by a representative who quickly who whisked us through the formalities and helped with our massive amount of luggage. Bob and his guides Francis and Herbert are outside waiting for us. Their vehicle was clean and had plenty of space for my wife and I and our luggage.

Francis, our primary guide was extremely knowledgeable and not only animals and the environment, but the history of Uganda and its tribes. Every detail was addressed from morning until night. We enjoyed our days, whether traveling to a new location or upon arrival and learned so much. Francis insured fluid fulfillment of the proposal Bob sent.

We had to have been very lucky on our Safari as we saw every animal we had hoped to see up close. We saw Jacob of the three legged lion.( Google his famous story) to tree, climbing, lionesses and perhaps over 100 elephants within 20 yards of us at the closest point. Francis insured that we got the best view and pointed out animals some of which I initially couldn’t see, even after pointing them out. He helped us with our cameras and took wonderful pictures. Francis continued day after day checking on us sitting in the back of the trucks to ensure our comfort was satisfactory.. Once Francis knew that we liked french fries he went out of his way to have french fries waiting for us ( and hot I might add at many stops along the way.

The hotels selected by Bob were more than adequate. While not all of them had air conditioning those that didn’t were beautiful tented locations. The food for exceeded our expectations No where were we disappointed in the food.

Perhaps the highlight and the reason for us choosing Uganda was to see the Primates. We were so fortunate to see on our first chimpanzee trekking over 25 chimps that were on the ground running around us paying us no attention. What a thrilling site. But perhaps the highlight of our trip was to go see the Gorillaz. We were very fortunate to find a family within 20 minutes of hiking into the jungle. These gorillas put on a wonderful fascinating show with the younger Gorillas playing together and grooming the silver back. We hired a porter to carry our camera equipment who was right there every time I needed a lens change and even helped us taking GoPro footage.

We had some initial challenges with our visa, which required a change of flights from Johannesburg to Kampala, but Bob and Francis adjusted quickly and accommodated us. They made changes to hotels for us. Despite the stress of that experience, we were reassured along the way that it would be taken care of and it was.

I am not a regular user of superlatives however, my wife and I cannot recommend shuttle hospitality any higher. If you want a complete and total immersive safari experience with knowledgeable guides and attentive management, you found it here with shuttle hospitality.

We want to thank Bob, Francis and Herbert for their kindness and attention to every detail for us. They made the difference between an average and adequate safari to a truly lifetime a memorable one.

Exceptional service and planning
5/5

Our tour was amazing from start to finish. Communication was clear and any question was responded to very quickly. We truly felt taken care of and this proved itself during our tour. The accommodations were outstanding and the food was amazing - garden fresh and always had a vegetarian option. Our guide/driver, Francis, was extremely knowledgeable about the animals, culture and about Uganda itself. We not only saw wildlife up close but were treated to visits to show us how to make coffee from tree to cup, weave baskets (which is way harder than it looks) and local music and dancing. Our chimpanzee and gorilla treks were thrilling and something we will never forget. At each location we were treated with kindness and exceptional service. Uganda and its people are wonderful! I would highly recommend a safari in Uganda and would absolutely use Shuttle Hospitality to organize and guide our adventure.
