An unforgettable Safari Experience with Africa Flash Mc Tours and Praygod!
My 8-day safari with Africa Flash Mc Tours was the best experience of my life. My guide was a legend with over 10 years of experience; his punctuality, deep knowledge and genuine passion took everything to another level. He not only showed me the wildlife, but also gave me interesting insights into the local culture and village life during the trip. His expertise and extensive network meant that I was always in the right place at the right time, allowing me to see the Great Migration, river crossings, cheetahs and rhinos. The itinerary was perfect, covering Tarangire, Serengeti North and Central and Ngorongoro Crater. The accommodations were a wonderful blend of luxury and comfort.

Dishonest
Africa Flash McTours and Travel, specifically its owner Peter, took what should have been a most memorable safari for my wife and I and made it a horrific memory of our experience. After much research, inclusive of quoting several companies and reading reviews, we booked a 3 day, 2 night safari in Amboseli National Park with this company. We paid our 90% deposit two months before our departure date and the balance one week before departure. African Flash booked our accommodations at the Ol Tukai Lodge.
The safari and stay at the lodge were outstanding. Our driver/guide, Martin was awesome. He made sure we had a wonderful safari experience from the start as he picked us up at our hotel in Nairobi and drove us 5 hours to the park. Our horrific experience started when we checked out and looked to start our journey back to Nairobi.
Our guide, Martin informed us that Peter had not paid the lodge for our stay and that the management was not permitting us to leave until they received payment. It was at that moment that I received a call from Peter apologizing for the inconvenience and stating that he was working to settle the account. He started to intimate that I could help him by paying the Lodge a balance due. I stopped him and stated that I would not pay anything additional as I had prepaid the full amount.
Our departure delay continued for over three hours as Peter continued to make false promises that the matter would be resolved with 15 minutes, then 30 minutes…. I engaged with the Ol Tukai manager and provided him with a copy of my paid in full invoice. While apologetic he told me the lodge’s policy was not to release our vehicle and driver and thus us until the account was settled as Peter had not paid anything towards our stay. I called the US Embassy in Nairobi and had them engaged with the lodge manager. While they have no enforcement authority in the country they did explain to the manager that they had no right to hold U.S. citizens from departing their property for an account balance they did not owe. The conversation had no impact on resolving the situation (I’ll reserve further comments on what I consider the hostage holding policy of Ol Tukai Lodge for my review of that establishment)
To me, Peter continued to lie about settling the account for over another hour. The only recourse we had was to hire another transport company to take us on the 5 hour trip back to Nairobi. So, we departed Amboseli disgusted with African Flash McTours. We took our guide with us as Peter was willing to have him stay in Amboseli with the vehicle that Ol Tukai lodge was preventing from leaving.
There are dozens of Safari companies to choose from in Kenya. I would run away from this company. One final point, I did receive a refund from Peter for the cost of the transport to Nairobi, but that in no way makes up for the horrific 4 hour hostage experience we endured.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am deeply sorry for the distressing way your safari ended.
First, I appreciate your kind comments about the safari itself, your stay at Ol Tukai Lodge, and especially Martin. I am glad that he provided you and your wife with the level of guiding and care that we expect throughout our safaris. Unfortunately, what happened on your departure day overshadowed what had otherwise been a very good experience, and I fully understand why.
You had paid us for your safari in full, and you had every reasonable expectation that all arrangements with our suppliers would be settled without involving you. The outstanding payment to the lodge was our responsibility, not yours, and you should never have been placed in a situation where you were delayed for several hours because of it.
The failure arose because I did not arrange the release of your funds from our holding account to our day-to-day operations account early enough to pay the lodge. By the time I requested the transfer, it was too late to complete the payment before your departure. This was a failure in our payment management and my oversight. It was an internal issue that you should never have had to deal with.
We have since introduced automatic disbursement of funds to our suppliers to address the manual transfer delay that caused this incident. However, automation alone is not enough. We will also introduce checks to verify that accommodation payments have been received before guests travel, daily reviews of outstanding supplier balances, and an emergency payment procedure with a designated backup person authorised to resolve urgent issues. We will seek written agreement with our accommodation partners that any account dispute must be escalated directly to our office without delaying our guests.
We reimbursed you for the alternative transportation you arranged back to Nairobi, but I fully accept that this did not compensate for the anxiety, frustration, and four-hour disruption you experienced.
Thank you for recognising Martin’s care and professionalism. He, too, should never have been placed in this position. Your safari should have ended with the same enjoyment you experienced during the game drives and lodge stay. I take responsibility for our failure to deliver that, and I sincerely apologise.

Magical
I had a magical experience at the Mara with this company. It was my first time solo traveling and I was a little nervous, but I felt very well taken care of thanks to Flash MC. Denis took me on amazing journeys thru the Savana, and his knowledge of the Mara coupled with his charming personality made it a memory I will never forget. Peter, the owner of Flash MC, was equally wonderful. I highly recommend!!

Wonderful Tanzania and Kenya Safari
We had a wonderful safari with Flash MC Tours! Peter was great to work with planning the trip. Esa and Anthony were excellent guides! We saw lots and lots of animals. Accommodations were good too! I highly recommend this company.

A great Safari Experience
We did 2 nights at Ol Pejeta from Nairobi that included drives on 3 separate days. Peter at Africa Flash Mc Tours & Travel was helpful in setting up the tour and answering our questions. Our driver, Felix, made the safari drives wonderful. He was very helpful in finding and identifying animals and was very good at getting us into the positions we wanted for photos or viewing. We loved our trip. We have had 3 separate companies take us on Safari drives in Kenya and Africa Flash Mc Tours & Travel with Felix driving the Land Cruiser was our best experience.

The best partner for your safari trip
We booked a trip with Africa Flash Mc Tours in 2022, and we were lucky to do this again in 2026.
The first time we went to several parcs, this time we wanted to visit just Masai Mara and Amboseli, we love to take our time to enjoy everything the parc and the accommodation has to offer. Africa Flash Mc Tours helped us a lot with choosing the best accomodations and guide/driver Edward made sure we got the best sightings and he realy understood our need to balance in driving around the parcs and enjoying coffee breaks.

Amazing Safari Experience
We had a wonderful experience over the past two to three days. Our guide, Dennis, was professional and kept everything well-organized, which made the whole trip smooth and stress-free.
He is very easy to get along with, friendly, and patient, always paying attention to our needs. Dennis is also very experienced and took us to see many amazing animals, making the trip memorable.
Most importantly, he is the safest driver I have seen in Africa, very reliable and trustworthy. He is also very punctual, always on time, which we really appreciated.
We felt well taken care of throughout the entire journey. Highly recommend Dennis and Flash McTours. Also a huge thank you to Peter for organizing the trips for us.
