A great experience!
My partner and I booked a three-day tour from Dar es Salaam by train, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tour included a scenic hike in the beautiful Uluguru Mountains, an incredible game drive in Mikumi National Park, and a fascinating visit to a Maasai Boma. Everything was well organized, and our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip even more enjoyable. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Tanzania’s stunning nature and culture.

A truly unforgettable safari led by the expertise, passion, and teamwork of Francis and Idris.
I had the pleasure of experiencing a three-day family safari that exceeded all of our expectations, thanks to our exceptional guides, Francis and Idris.
From the very beginning, they made us feel completely safe, even during fast-paced game drives. Their professionalism, extensive knowledge of wildlife, genuine passion for nature, and dedication to giving us the best possible experience were truly remarkable.
They seized every opportunity to teach us about the bush and its fascinating secrets. We learned how to read the behaviour of elephants and buffaloes and recognize the signs that told us when to stop and give them space so they would not feel threatened. They introduced us to the beautiful desert rose, explaining that despite its attractive appearance, it can be poisonous, and showed us how the acacia tree protects itself with sharp thorns while still serving as a favourite food for giraffes. We also witnessed the incredible cycle of life in the wild, including the unforgettable moment when a giraffe became prey for a pride of lions.
It was a breathtaking experience that our family will remember forever. Idris’s warm personality, infectious laughter, and ability to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere perfectly complemented Francis’s calm professionalism, deep expertise, and wealth of experience. Together, they made an outstanding team and turned our safari into a truly unforgettable adventure.
I wholeheartedly recommend both Francis and Idris to anyone looking for an authentic, safe, and memorable safari experience.

Idris - great communication, really kind person, we were laughing the whole time.
The place is more local looking but comfy and nice. Staff is really kind, we were laughing the whole trip. The Safari alone is BEAUTIFUL, it is clean nice a seeing those animals was nice experience.

Doris was extremely approachable and kind toward us full of laughter and positive energy.
I had absolute blast during this Safari experience. Idris as our tour operator made this experience even better as he was always very attentive during our program but even in the free time he devoted his time toward teaching us about the Tanzania and its people. I want to shoutout his flexibility to adjust our schedule, making himself always available. He formed a great duo with Francis whose exceptional driving and tracking experience helped us discover so much of Nyerere Park, even spotting a group of lion and multiple towers of giraffes. In addition to being a great driver, he helped other Safari drivers to navigate through the wilderness and get unstuck from muddy terrains. I have learned a lot interesting facts from these two guides.
Excellent Safari Experience and Great Value for Money
We had a very positive experience with Africa Mulimi Safari Company during our family safari to Nyerere National Park. Communication was prompt and clear from the beginning, and the team—led by Idris, our personal guide throughout the trip, and Francis, our safari guide in the park—was flexible and helpful in adapting the programme to our needs and budget.
Everything was well organised and reliable, from the pick-up and transportation to the game drives and accommodation arrangements. Both guides were professional, friendly and knowledgeable, making the tour enjoyable, informative and memorable.
The safari offered excellent value for money and a high standard of service. I would gladly recommend Africa Mulimi Safaris to travellers looking for a dependable and fairly priced safari company in Tanzania.

Mikumi & Ruaha National Parks
Our French-speaking guide, Djafari, was absolutely outstanding! Thanks to him, we had an unforgettable experience. He was always attentive, taught us so much about the animals, and was incredibly kind and patient with our children.
As for our safari drivers, Alphonse and Joel, we couldn’t have asked for better. They did everything they could to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. A huge thank you to both of them!
The organization was excellent from start to finish. We only had to pay a deposit in advance, and the remaining balance was paid in person. They picked us up from our hotel, booked our train tickets, arranged all the meals, and took care of the accommodations.
Our lodges in Mikumi and Ruaha were absolutely amazing.
The only small thing I would have liked to know beforehand was the long distance between the two parks. Since we were traveling with our 5-year-old daughter, I probably would have chosen a different itinerary if I had known. Other than that, everything was perfect.
A huge thank you again to Djafari, Joel, and Alphonse. You are simply the best!

Excellent value with highly proficient guides
Extremely good value for money - a driver, a guide, six nights safari-lodge accommodation, all meals for almost seven days, transport to three National Parks (Nyerere, Mikumi & Ruaha), and guided tours round those parks, starting and ending in Dar-es-Salaam for two people for well under $2,500.
The wildlife seen included elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, zebra, impala (all the parks), lion (Mikumi), jackal, kudu, eland (Mikumi & Ruaha).
The wildlife lodges were top quality with good food and friendly staff.
I can't find anything to object to and this is my seventh safari in two months.

Don't pay full amount until you reach the lodge smoothly
Honestly everything was really good esp. considering the price. But the transfer was horrible to say the least, they sent us a van that was not designed for the long dirt road from Dar es Salam to the National park, it was extremely uncomfortable. The doors kept malfunctioning and opening mid journey causing us to stop, by the end they wouldn't open. That wasn't even the main issue, the AC was not working at all. When we requested a different car when we got to the lodge they assured us they would fix the van which obviously they didn't. Three days later when it was time to go back to Dar es Salam they said they would get a different car all together which they didn't with all the same issues. We ended up booking a charter plane with a different company

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the vehicle during your transfer to and from Nyerere National Park.
The road to the park is extremely rough, and unfortunately the long journey caused an unexpected mechanical issue with the sliding doors.
We understand how frustrating this was and regret the inconvenience it caused.
We also acknowledge your concern regarding the air conditioning.
After you reported the issues at the lodge, we arranged for the vehicle to be inspected and the reported problems to be repaired before your scheduled return journey.
Our intention was to resolve the issues with the same vehicle rather than replace it.
However, We understand that you ultimately chose to return to Dar es Salaam by charter flight instead of using the return road transfer.
At Africa Mulimi Safaris, Guest safety and comfort remain our highest priorities, and your feedback has encouraged us to strengthen our maintenance procedures even further, particularly for vehicles operating on the demanding Nyerere route.

Friendly and Trustable
I am grateful to Idris and the team. As a female solo traveler and my first time in the African continent I enjoyed and felt very safe all the time. They picked me up punctually at the hotel, they booked every ticket for me including trains, hotels and parks fees. The schedule went as planned with no unfortunate surprises. The hotel they booked surpassed all my expectations. The safari was amazing. Osman and Alphonse tried hard to find the animals I was expecting to see and they stayed for the sunset as I requested. All the drivers were kind (John and Benson). My experience overall was excellent ! I would totally recommend it to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.
