An Unforgettable 3-Day Safari Experience with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris
I recently completed a 3-day safari with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris, and honestly, the whole experience was much better than I expected. From the very first communication until the end of the safari, everything was well organized, professional, and handled with genuine care. If you are planning a safari in Tanzania and are wondering which company to choose, I can confidently say that my experience with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris was a very positive one, and I would definitely recommend giving them a chance.
One of the things that really stood out to me was the communication and personal attention from our travel consultant, Isra. He was very attentive from the beginning and, more importantly, he really listened to what we wanted from the safari. It did not feel like we were simply booking a standard package and being sent on a tour. Isra took the time to understand our needs, answer our questions, explain the arrangements, and make sure everything was prepared properly. Whenever we needed clarification or had a request, he was responsive and helpful. That kind of personal attention makes a big difference, especially when you are traveling to another country and want to feel confident that everything has been arranged correctly.
The safari itself was also extremely well organized. During those three days, we felt that the arrangements were taken care of properly, allowing us to concentrate on enjoying the experience instead of worrying about logistics. The timing, transportation, guiding, and general organization all came together very smoothly. What I appreciated most was that everything felt well coordinated without making the experience feel rushed or uncomfortable.
A special mention definitely has to go to our guide, Erick. He is very experienced, knowledgeable, and professional, and we could see that he knows the safari environment very well. His experience made a big difference throughout the trip. He guided us carefully, shared information with us, and helped us understand much more about what we were seeing instead of simply driving us from one place to another. His knowledge and experience gave us confidence, and he clearly takes his responsibility as a guide seriously. Having a good guide can completely change a safari experience, and for us, Erick was a very important part of what made these three days so enjoyable.
What I also liked about Tanzania Songbirds Safaris was the overall feeling of being looked after. A safari is not only about seeing wildlife; it is also about the organization, communication, guide, transportation, timing, and how comfortable you feel throughout the journey. In our case, all these details were handled very well. The team made the experience enjoyable and stress-free, and we were able to focus on appreciating the beauty and excitement of Tanzania.
After the safari, I can honestly say that I am happy with the decision we made to travel with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris. From Isra's excellent communication and attention to our needs, to Erick's experience and guidance in the field, the people behind the safari really contributed to making it a memorable experience.

Amazing company
This is amazing safari company we would recommend in every way. Young people working there are welcoming, very knowledgeable and ready to help and answer any questions you may have. We went for three full day trips with them (Arusha city, Ngorongoro crater, Kilimanjaro) and each was better than the previous. Best luxury fly-in fly-out Serengeti safari experience
A big thank you to Isra (travel consultant) who helped us plan a wonderful 2 day fly-in and fly-out safari in the Central Serengeti. Isra was amazing leading up to our safari and was always quick to respond to any queries we had.
Harry our safari guide did an incredible job on the game drives and helped us see more than 23 different animals, including 4 of the big 5 in just 2 days!
We stayed at Tukaone Hembe Camp and watched the most beautiful sunset after a big day of game drives.

Amazing 3-Day Safari in Tanzania
We had an incredible 3-day safari with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris, visiting Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. Every day was special, and we really enjoyed the whole experience from beginning to end.
A big thank you to Isra Mungure, who was amazing from the first communication. He is very professional, knows his work very well, and helped us organize everything perfectly. The accommodation, safari jeep, meals, and service were all good. The price was also absolutely reasonable for the quality of service we received.
Our guide Eric was fantastic. He is an excellent driver and has incredible skills when it comes to spotting animals. Thanks to him, we saw so many animals we had dreamed of seeing. He was patient, friendly, and made sure we enjoyed every moment of the safari.
The three parks were all different and beautiful. Tarangire was amazing for elephants and the beautiful landscapes, Ngorongoro Crater was simply breathtaking, and Lake Manyara gave us another wonderful wildlife experience.
We always felt safe and in good hands with local people who really know Tanzania. This gave us complete peace of mind during the trip.

Exceptional
We had amazing and unique experience with Israel - the man and the legend, who is the manager of Tanzania songbirds Safari, and Eric the great - our super guide and driver. The communication with Israel, before the tour, during and afterwards, was wonderful!! Through e mails, his reply ratio was very fast and informative. Our two days Safari experience was unforgettable, and it couldn't be like that without our guide Eric - he knows where to go, and how to find all wonderful wildlife. He organized tasty lunch meals, actually helped us everything and more, even with dinner at the end of the tour - awesome and exiting!!
We'll never forget Israel and Eric, sure next time they are the best and only option for all kind of tours in Tanzania, and hope everyone who see this review, will book with them.

Must do tour in Arusha!!!
We did two days of tours with Israel & Daudi, both of which were amazing guides! They are so kind and knowledgeable. They shared so much info with us and answered all of our questions. On the first day we did a tour around Arusha town and go to see so much culture and life. The 2nd day we did a tour to the Maasai Tribe right outside of Arusha and it is a MUST DO! It is one of the most unique tours we have ever done. The Maasai people were so kind and welcoming, and it was so cool to learn about their way of living. Highly recommend booking this tour!

Tanzania Songbird Safaris is a must!
What a magnificent experience. We went on a group safari with of our family and friends to northern Tanzania, and we got a recommendation from our friends back home about Tanzania Songbirds Safaris. We all appreciated it was the best trip we have ever been to. Our guide Erick and Israel were the absolute the best and our group was so glad to have them. Eric & Israel were able to share so much about Tanzania especially wildlife and general history of the country, culture and people. They responded to all the questions we asked promptly, graciously and in detail. We spent 4 days in Central Serengeti and we saw the great migration which is very lucky since we had never seen it before. Thanks so much to Erick, Israel and the entire team of Tanzania Songbirds Safaris for making our dream come true. During the migration safari we saw a lot of animals including the African big five and small animals too. The jeep, accommodations and all meals were the best and we felt very welcomed at the lodge everyday and there so much food on offer. I would be jealous if I couldn't say Tanzania Songbirds Safaris deserve to be the top rated operator in Tanzania and I can confidently recommend them to all travelers looking for a wonderful safari experience in Africa

A Warm & Wonderful Introduction to Tanzania
Before arriving in Tanzania, my partner and I had already booked our safari, so we planned to spend two days exploring Arusha before heading to the wild. The experience was so enjoyable that we immediately booked Isra for a second day.
Isra made us feel comfortable exploring the city on foot. He patiently answered all of our questions and shared fascinating insights into Tanzanian history, ethnic diversity, politics, religion, culture, and everyday life. It felt more like spending time with a knowledgeable local friend.
Our favorite stop was the Central Market. Isra explained how the market is organized and why different sections developed the way they did. We also got to see what local people buy and eat, and even sampled a few local products. Without a guide, we probably wouldn't have ventured so confidently into such a large, busy market.
We also loved the coffee farm. Having visited coffee farms in Colombia and Hawaii, we found this experience unique because we followed the entire process, from harvesting to brewing, at a small organic farm. The coffee was excellent, and we brought a bag home to Canada.
Isra is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing his country. If we hadn't already booked our safari before arriving in Tanzania, we would definitely have considered him as our safari guide. We highly recommend Tanzania Songbirds Safaris.

An outstanding Arusha experience, especially for birders
We visited Tanzania in mid-June and had three transition days in Arusha before and after our safari, so we booked the Arusha city tour with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
Our guide, Isra, arrived at our hotel ahead of time each day. The vehicle was comfortable and well maintained, with a dedicated driver, allowing Isra to focus entirely on guiding and answering our questions. Since it was just the two of us, he was very flexible and adjusted the itinerary to match our interests. In the first day, we ended up spending several enjoyable hours exploring the Central Market, which became one of our favorite experiences in Arusha. We enjoyed the tour so much that we booked Isra again for another day to continue exploring the city and the Maasai Market. After we finished our safari and returned to Arusha, we spent our final day with him visiting Lake Duluti and a local coffee farm near Arusha.
What impressed us most was Isra's knowledge and genuine passion for sharing his country. Before our safari, he introduced us to Tanzanian history, culture, wildlife, and everyday life, which gave us a much deeper appreciation of everything we experienced later in the national parks. We had many enjoyable conversations about nature, Tanzanian culture, his experiences as a safari guide, and the daily lives of local people. We learned far more than we expected from a city tour. He also recommended several local restaurants (Uzunguni City Park and Khan's Barbeque), all of which were authentic and excellent. Throughout all three days, Isra was kind, patient, professional, and gentle. As two female travellers, we always felt comfortable, safe, and well looked after.
As birdwatchers, we were especially delighted by his knowledge of and enthusiasm for birds. Not all safari guides are knowledgeable about birds, so if you're a birder, you'll definitely appreciate touring with Isra.
Whether you are looking for a short introduction to Arusha or considering Isra as your safari guide, we highly recommend Tanzania Songbirds Safaris. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end.
