An unforgettable safari and primate adventure!
Our 4-day / 3-night safari with Bush Craft Safaris, including Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking, was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our travels.
Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish and our guide and driver, Allan, was simply outstanding. His knowledge about Uganda’s wildlife, nature, and culture, combined with his great sense of humor, made every day enjoyable and informative.
The Gorilla Trekking was a once-in-a-lifetime experience - seeing these magnificent, gentle animals up close was simply incredible. The Chimpanzee Trekking was equally fascinating and completed an amazing wildlife adventure.
Uganda’s lush green hills, banana, tea and coffee plantations, friendly people, and delicious food truly make it the “Pearl of Africa.”
We highly recommend Bush Craft Safaris and if you‘re lucky enough to have Allan as your guide, you’re in the very best hands!
Just awesome and unforgettable
Our 4 days Uganda safari with Bush Craft Safaris was just perfect. We enjoyed a fantastic time on our trips to Bwindi National Park and Queen Elisabeth National Park.
Absolute highlights were the Gorilla trekking and the Chimpanzee tour. On our way to these various highlights, we could enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Uganda.
Not to forget our driver Allan. He was just amazing. So knowledgable, so friendly and flexible in meeting all our requests and wishes. Thank you so much Allen for all your support. This was really outstanding👍.
Gorillas, Chimpanzees & Wildlife – The Perfect Uganda Safari
Our 4-day safari in Uganda with Bush Craft Safaris was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
From the moment Allan picked us up at the airport, we knew we were in excellent hands. He was friendly, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable. During the journey, he shared fascinating insights about Uganda, its people, culture, and wildlife, making every drive enjoyable and informative.
The Gorilla Trekking was simply breathtaking. Seeing a family of mountain gorillas up close in their natural habitat was an emotional experience we will never forget. The Chimpanzee Trekking was equally special, especially when the oldest chimpanzee walked right past us and seemed to pose for our cameras.
The boat safari on the Kazinga Channel and the game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park completed the adventure perfectly. We saw hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, countless birds, a leopard, and finally a magnificent male lion. Allan’s remarkable ability to spot wildlife and his patience gave us plenty of time to observe and take photos.
The accommodations were comfortable, the food was excellent, and everything was perfectly organized.
If you are planning a safari in Uganda, we highly recommend choosing a local company like Bush Craft Safaris. You support the local community while benefiting from outstanding local knowledge and authentic experiences.
A huge thank you to Allan and the entire Bush Craft Adventures team for making this trip truly unforgettable. We would travel with them again anytime.
An incredible experience. Everything was perfect!
The trip was absolutely perfect and truly unforgettable. Our guide, Sarah, made sure that every one of our wishes became a reality. Her presence was invaluable throughout the entire journey—she was always smiling, full of positive energy, and ready to help with anything we needed.
We felt incredibly lucky, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We honestly have nothing negative to say. It was an amazing experience, and we would highly recommend it!

Super good, fast replies and all around very professional company.
We went on a 7-day safari with Bushcraft Safaris. From the very beginning the communication was super fast and super easy. They helped us with everything and told us about money exchange, visa process etc. The best part about the trip was our guide Allan - he was the one who made this trip 11 out of 10 - super smart, knew every animal you could see on a safari and also gave us a lot of facts and stories about history of Uganda. Great sense of humour and above all he was the best driver. All in all Uganda is super beautiful with kind people and if you want to see all Uganda has to offer - choose Bushcraft Safaris.

Fantastic trip with an amazing guide!
Bush Craft Safaris organised an excellent trip for us, seamless from the airport greeting to the final day. Our guide, Mark, was outstanding. He is passionate, deeply knowledgeable about Uganda, and engaging to talk to.
Mark truly wanted us to have the best time possible. He went out of his way to find the best wildlife sightings on game drives, and even on long travel days, he added in great short stops to break up the drive. His attention to detail was immaculate (even ensuring washrooms were up to standard!). Highly recommend Bush Craft Safaris and Mark for an unforgettable safari!

Really excellent, going out of their way to ensure the best experience for their customers.
Gorilla tracking in Uganda has always been top of our bucket list, but we also wanted to see the best that Uganda could offer. Our guide, Mark and trainee Joel went out of their way to make sure our experience lived up to our expectations. They became more than just tour guides and ended up as friends by the end of the trip. The gorilla tracking was of course the highlight, but chimpanzee tracking and the boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, where we saw over a hundred elephants along the riverside, were also incredible. All of the lodges were wonderful, with excellent service, food and amazing scenery. Mark was a much more than a fabulous tour guide, always phoning ahead to make sure everything was sorted for our arrival. Bush Craft Safaris did a great job all round and I would thoroughly recommend them if you want a value for money and personable trip to Uganda whilst taking in all the sights this amazing country has to offer.

From affable professional to new friend on the trip of a lifetime
If you are reading this, trying to decide if you should book a safari with Bush Craft Safaris, allow me to allay any apprehension. BCS provided an absolutely amazing safari experience for my wife and I. We booked a 12 day safari with them. Our guide was Allan, and he was absolutely incredible. Allan was incredibly knowledgeable about the fauna and flora in his native national parks, often pointing out details and bits of information about the animals we saw that heightened the experience for us. Furthermore, he was an excellent driver and had deep knowledge of the parks we visited, which I believe helped us to see some things we might not have otherwise. Allan took excellent care of us, making sure we got everywhere we needed to on time, while also allowing us to spend as much time seeing the sights as we wanted. He was incredibly amenable to any slight alterations to the schedule we discussed with him. Also, he made sure we always had water and snacks (every day is a banana day). The accommodation that BCS booked for us was absolutely lovely, with nearly every location providing an experience that really immersed you in the feeling of being on an adventure and being so close to the surrounding natural beauty of Uganda. The food at every location was good, with some places having truly excellent dinners and lunches available. There was a nice mix of local cuisines and western food available nearly everywhere we went. Locals and staff we met were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The children were very cute and hilarious, often eyes going wife and shouting “mzungu!” excitedly and then waving emphatically. As far as wildlife, we saw nearly everything we could have hoped to. We were able to see the Big 5 and so many elephants, hippos, giraffe, crocodiles, monkeys, antelope, zebra and birds. Not to mention the countless other encounters of other wildlife ranging from mongoose to civet. Then of course the trekking days to see the chimpanzees, gorillas and golden monkeys were the highlights of the trip for us. Being able to see these majestic beings was truly something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The only negative I can think of is that the trip was truly over too soon.
As an extra note I would like to add that we visited during the recent Ebola outbreak. I feel it’s worth saying that Uganda is truly doing an excellent job to contain the outbreak and ensure the safety of its citizens and tourists alike. Nearly everywhere we went there were temperature check stations, and hand sanitizer/hand wash stations were readily available. Obviously everyone must make their own risk assessments, but it was our own personal experience that the risk was low and well controlled.
Truly I cannot say enough about how amazing with trip was. 10/10 rating and Bush Craft Safaris provided an experience second to none.
