Our 12-day safari with Wagatil Safaris was such an unforgettable experience. Everything was very well organized, and we always felt very well taken care of.
From the very first day, we felt so comfortable with out amazing guide Eddie. He was always friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable, and we shared so many laughs and beautiful moments together. He made every game drive and long drive even more enjoyable and always made sure we had the best possible experience.
We are so grateful for all the incredible memories we made in Uganda. A huge thank you to Wagatil Safaris and, most of all, to Eddie. We couldn’t have wished for a better guide and are so happy that we got to experience this adventure with him. ❤️🇺🇬

We did a 12 days trip with Wagatil and our wonderful guide Roland.
Everything was perfect from the planning of Pretty and also the availability to make arrangements on our needs.
The places we visited were beautiful, the accommodations amazing and especially all the people were friendly and welcoming.
The agency made us a suprirese for our honeymoon and made everything more special.
All the activities were well organized, the car travel never too long and with possibilities of stop.

Amazing experience
The Gorilla's trekking tour package arranged by Wagatil Safaris was excellent in every single aspect. Good communication, friendly and attentive service by Martin and Pretty coordinating my package details, the wonderful and very friendly tour guide, Timothy during my time in Buhoma (Bwindi NP, the excellent lodge Mahogany Springs and last but not least the amazing experience of seeing the gorillas. I highly recommend them !!!

Unforgettable 6-day safari in Rwanda andUganda
I recently completed a 6-day safari in Rwanda and Uganda as a solo traveler and photographer, and it was an experience I'll treasure for a long time.
The office was excellent from the start — quick to respond to every message and very accommodating with all my customization requests. They arranged a good mix of lodges throughout the trip, and importantly, they gave me confidence and reassurance about my reserved gorilla tracking permit, which was one of the main reasons I chose this trip.
My guide, Edgar, was punctual and flexible with all my ideas along the way. One thing that really stood out: since we entered Uganda by land, I hadn't had the chance to withdraw any local currency. Edgar kindly offered to help by exchanging USD for local currency whenever I needed it — a small gesture, but one I truly appreciated.
Edgar is also a clearly experienced driver with solid knowledge of the animals in the field. His eyes were incredible — he could spot something as well-camouflaged as a monitor lizard hiding in a tree from a good distance away. It was also obvious that he's well-regarded and well-liked among the other guides.
Of course, safaris don't always go exactly as planned — there were a couple of days when the wildlife simply wasn't cooperating — but Edgar never stopped trying, doing everything he could to help us find animals.
One of my favorite memories came on the last day. We finished our activities a bit early, so Edgar organized an adhoc community visit, where I got to learn about local coffee-making and try tasting banana beer and banana gin. It was such a thoughtful addition, and I'm really grateful he took the initiative to make that happen.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable safari experience, and I'd highly recommend both the company and Edgar as a guide.

Great experience
We did a 6 day Rwanda and Uganda tour with Wagatil. Whole experience was wonderful, starting with booking and customization with Martin.
Our guide, Jackson, was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. This is very important because we spent a lot of time driving from place to place.

Great agency for an unforgettable trip!
The agency represented by Pretty organized our 14-day family trip with four children aged 6 to 13 and two parents. They made sure everything was planned for our family size beforehand and scheduled visits to the most beautiful and unforgettable places in Uganda. Our driver-guide, Vincent, was also fantastic—patient and attentive to our needs. We saw an incredible number of animals, including some of the rarest species, thanks to Vincent's keen eye and extensive knowledge! Exceptional from start to finish
From start to finish, Wagatil were exceptional! After finding the estimated quote on safari tours, booking process was incredibly easy. Pretty was very responsive and easy to discuss the different aspects of their tour options.
Martin our guide for our private mid-range 6 day trip from Rwanda to Uganda (including gorillas, chimps, golden monkeys and game drives in Queen Elizabeth national park) was truly exceptional. His knowledge was second to none, he was able to ask any questions we had (even the random ones that had nothing to do with the itinerary) and did so will enthusiasm and a smile. He showed so much passion about all of the different species of wildlife we were tracking and also of his country, we learnt so much from him about both. Martin always went above and beyond for us, from the organisation of the excursions to ensure we had the best outcome he could provide, to running the scheduled tightly to ensure we didn’t miss out on something we would have wanted to see, and from his choices of accommodation which were always strides better than we had expected to be getting, to making stops when we needed at pharmacies, ATMs and food stores for snacks on long drives, he never once made us feel like we were being a pain. This is something we were truly appreciative of, having been on many tours with many guides, and this often not being the experience.
Overall, I can’t recommend Wagatil and specifically Martin enough. We had the trip of a lifetime and one we will never forget! We will be sharing the company’s details with anyone who wishes to come Uganda on a trip and hope to return ourselves soon!

Amazing experience
Uganda is an awesome place. Everyone we met was super friendly. The tour itself was put together so well that everyday was another amazing experience.
Our guide Martin made his job look effortless. He was genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience but we would barely notice the work he put in. Which made it feel extremely calm and relaxed.
We'd considered a self drive but Martin's experience getting us in the best spots with the wildlife, sorting permits so we flew past queues was some of the best money I've ever spent.
How invested Ugandans and Martin specifically are in their country and preserving the nature within it made our trip something we'll never forget.

Professional, accommodating and seamless
A 6 day Rwanda and Uganda itinerary, lead by our excellent guide and driver, Martin.
Everything was seamless and his intimate knowledge of each destination and activity allowed us to sit back and enjoy every aspect without having to consider any logistics.
Great sense of humor and he didn't use a map for the entire duration. He seemed to know everyone and that did us wonders when getting to the right spots for game drives and successful hikes for the chimps, gorillas and golden monkeys.
Would highly recommend the company to friends and family and especially Martin. We were a group of 3 and felt that everything was really well priced and professionally handled.
