Quality of service and attention
I had an excellent experience with Wagatil Safari and I can only say great things! From the very beginning, the service was impeccable. The car was extremely comfortable, which made a big difference during the drives, and the hotel selection was great, well above expectations.
I would especially like to highlight our guide, Rowland, who was absolutely amazing. The real standout of Wagatil Safari is, without a doubt, the very close, attentive, and caring service, which makes you feel safe and well looked after at all times. You can truly see that they care about the client’s experience, not just about following an itinerary.
I highly recommend them and would definitely travel with them again!

Such a stand out experience!
If you are traveling solo you are in great hands with Wagatil Safaris! From the pick up at the hotel, to the guide and the overall experience it was above and beyond. I felt safe, well taken care of and honestly probably had one of the best guides - I would specifically request Joseph if you go on this tour! He’s the absolute best and so knowledgeable about the park and Rwanda history which is an added plus!

Wonderful Safari company!
From start to finish everything with our Safari was smoothly organized. We got a quote within an hour and our safari plan. The Mantis hotel was amazing, highly recommended to anyone.
The the guides Albert & Jackson was wonderful to have as our guides. They were super friendly and showed us everything we could see in the park. The also picked us up exactly where we wanted.
Pretty who did all the admin for us was also amazing and super friendly , professional & effective!
We are super happy that we choose Wagatil Safari!

Excellent well-balanced safari experience
Special thanks to Roland, my guide and driver, who created a truly memorable experience for me. The sheer number of animals we encountered was absolutely astonishing! Thanks also to Martin and Pretty for their excellent support. Roland ensured everything went smoothly and according to plan. We explored a great balance of both the southern (boat trip as well as night game drive) and northern sections of the park. The organization was excellent, and the service was professional throughout. I highly recommend Wagatil Safaris for an exceptional safari experience.

Our safari experience was absolutely beyond expectations! From start to finish, the team was exceptional — knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to every detail. We felt so well looked after throughout the entire trip and truly appreciated how smoothly everything was organized. Every moment was incredible, from the breathtaking wildlife sightings to the stunning scenery. It was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t recommend this team highly enough!
Amazing safari experience!
I had the best time on my 2-day safari at Queen Elizabeth National Park with Wagatil! Martin was incredibly organised and made everything so easy from start to finish — it honestly exceeded my expectations. I was picked up from the Overland Resort, and the drivers were fantastic — really friendly and made sure we saw as much wildlife as possible.
The boat trip on the Kazinga Channel was definitely the highlight for me — we got so close to hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and loads of birds. Everything was smooth, fun, and so well put together.
Would 100% recommend Wagatil (Martin) to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable, and unforgettable safari experience!

From start to finish, our experience with Wagatils Safari was absolutely incredible! Martin and his amazing team went above and beyond to make every moment special — their passion, organisation and care truly made this trip one to remember.
A huge shoutout to Rowland, our awesome driver, who navigated every road with skill, patience and humour — always with a smile and endless local knowledge. Team Adams and Ed were fantastic too, full of energy and always there to lend a hand.
The rangers and gorilla trekking guides were simply phenomenal — calm, knowledgeable and supportive every step of the way. I honestly couldn’t have completed the trek without their encouragement and expertise.
Every detail was taken care of, from the sunrise safaris to the mountain drives, making this journey through Uganda a dream come true. Thank you Martin and everyone at Wagatils Safari for creating memories that will stay with me forever 💚
