Amazing!!
We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Nortaz Tours! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Over the past year, Paul and Sylvia helped us plan our entire trip by email. They responded incredibly quickly, listened to all our wishes and created a completely tailor-made journey for us. Everything was arranged perfectly down to the smallest detail.
A very special thank you to Freddy, our private guide, who was there for us throughout the entire safari. He was friendly, knowledgeable and simply amazing — we could not have wished for a better guide!
Our stay at Dove Camp in the Serengeti was also incredible and made the whole experience even more special.
This trip exceeded all our expectations and gave us memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. It truly enriched our lives.

A dream comes true
Many thanks to Paul, the Nowtaz team, and of course, our wonderful guide, Freddy.
The many impressive sights and experiences we had in these diverse and varied parks (Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park) are truly remarkable. Our attentive and warm-hearted guide, Freddy, enabled us to observe the "Big Five" and the "Ugly Five," among other things. His knowledge of the country, the individual parks, and the animals enriched the experience.
Our additional personal wish was more than fulfilled: A major goal was to visit Gombe National Park and learn more about the work of Jane Goodall and her team, including chimpanzee trekking. This extra effort, including domestic flights, was definitely worthwhile: The unique encounters with the chimpanzees in the rainforest, facilitated by our Gombe National guide, Samgee, will remain unforgettable. We always felt safe there, despite being so close to the chimpanzees. To conclude our visit, a staff member from the Jane Goodall Institute gave us a tour of the institute and Jane Goodall's former home, sharing his knowledge and many interesting stories about some well-known monkeys, as well as, of course, about Jane Goodall and her valuable work.
We will gladly book further tours and safaris through Nowtaz Safari, preferably with Freddy, the best guide.

Personable, knowledgeable, and professional
From start to finished, Freddy and Benjamin communicated, arrived on time, and we're there to support in all ways. The experience was better because of their diligence, enthusiasm, and efforts. They engaged on all fronts, with adults and children alike. With their expertise we learned about animals, cultures, and built family memories to last a lifetime.
Our accommodations and experience was top notch. We felt safe while seeing true bucketlist pars of the world.
While seeing the Big5, we saw and captured incredible pictures, saw more than 30 animals in their natural habitat without disrupting their land and habitat.
We met Messai people and saw their culture because of the connection our guides had with them.
The trucks had a refrigerated cooler for drinks and snacks, and all comforts were considered.
We will book with them again and reccomend them to other family and friends.
The most incredible and seamless experience
My husband and I booked our honeymoon safari with Nowtaz Tours, and the experience was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We loved being able to customize our itinerary and hotel selections, which made the trip feel so personal and tailored to us. This safari had been a bucket-list experience for me for years, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Every moment felt special. A huge thank you to our tour guide, Fredy, who made the trip even more memorable. He was fun, respectful, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. We felt completely taken care of and in great hands throughout the entire journey.

My dad and I booked the two day safari tour including flights from and to Zanzibar, private tourguide, hot air balloon ride.
During the included lunch and dinner we had the possibility to buy any other drinks or souvenirs at the spot.
Breakfast was also included and very well organised and tasty.
Our tourguide Steven is well experienced, spots animals from far distance and gave us a relaxed and great 2 days. Knows a lot of information and made sure we'd see a lot of animals.
The contact beforehand was also good, and they provided excellent input regarding any unforeseen matters or doubts.
So well deserved 5 stars.

We booked a 4 day mid-range joining safari tour through Nowtaz tours and had a fantastic time for our honeymoon. Paul and Nowtaz’s communication was excellent from our enquiry to being on the tour itself. We toured the Serengeti for 2 days, as well as driving into the Ngorogoro crater and going to terangire national park. It was an unforgettable experience. The tented lodges were lovely and so comfortable. Our safari driver was great and always made sure we were happy with the plan and aware of the schedule. Most of all, we got to see so many animals up close! The driver always went out of his way to make sure we found the animals we were looking to see too.
I would recommend Nowtaz to anyone looking to book a safari. We had all our questions answered and they were also able to sort us transfers and hotel recommendations where required.

A Perfect, Once‑in‑a‑Lifetime Honeymoon Safari with Nortaz Safari
Our safari in Tanzania with Nortaz Safari was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the very beginning, Paul (the owner) was incredibly communicative, thoughtful, and hands‑on with the planning. He made everything feel seamless and personal, and his support didn’t stop once the trip began. He even met up with us afterward just to chat and make sure everything exceeded expectations, which it absolutely did.
Our guide, Freddy, was phenomenal. He was warm, patient, and unbelievably skilled at spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw an incredible variety of animals and learned so much along the way. His energy set the tone for the entire experience.
The accommodations were next-level. The Four Seasons Serengeti was breathtaking, and the Ngorongoro Lodge overlooking the crater felt like something out of a dream. Every stop was comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly chosen.
One of the highlights was the sunrise hot air balloon ride, which was pure magic — floating over the Serengeti as the sun came up is something we’ll never forget.
Everything about this trip was perfect. We would 100% recommend Nortaz Safari to anyone considering a Tanzanian safari, and we’ll be telling all our friends. It was unforgettable in every way.

My wife and I had been talking about going on a safari in Tanzania for years. When we finally had time during Easter, we thought: why not? Rainy season or not – let’s go!
We booked with Nowtaz Tours (Nortaz Safari), and honestly, it was one of the best travel decisions we’ve ever made (and we’ve made quite a few over 32 years of marriage 😉).
We originally asked for their “Eternal Love Honeymoon Safari” since we skipped our honeymoon back in the day – so this became our 32-year delayed honeymoon 😄
Paul was quick to respond, super helpful, and very easy to deal with. Everything was sorted out fast, and we felt taken care of from the very beginning. He even showed up at our hotel in Arusha to welcome us – and again at the end to check how it all went. That’s what I call service!
Our guide was amazing – great driver, incredibly knowledgeable, and had a surprisingly good understanding of Danish humor (which is not always easy 😅). Even in areas with tall grass, he somehow managed to find animals everywhere.
We saw a lot of wildlife – including the Big Five in Serengeti! The wildebeest and zebra migration was just insane – thousands of animals moving together. And seeing not just one, but six rhinos in Ngorongoro? That felt like hitting the safari jackpot.
As for the “rainy season”… well, it rained for about 30 minutes the evening we arrived. That’s it. The rest of the time: sunshine. So much for worrying about the weather!
Yes, some of the roads were a bit bumpy – but that just adds to the adventure (and maybe helps justify an extra drink at the lodge later 😉).
Speaking of lodges: they were fantastic. Way better than expected.
All in all, an unforgettable trip with a great company. We can highly recommend Nowtaz Tours – and we might not wait another 32 years before going again!
